Democracy’s Fiery Ordeal: The War in Ukraine 🇺🇦

AOC and crew are just as wrong as well. This idea that NATO is the aggressor is BS Kremlin propaganda. You can’t tell sovereign nations what to do. These countries are seeking protection in the event that they are invaded. They know Russia crazy, why do you think they wanted to move away from USSRism to begin with?  We already have NATO countries that border Russia, so having Ukraine join wouldn’t change anything. Putin is just mad his sphere of influence is gone because nobody in the modern world wants strongman oppression tactics. Sucks for Russia, maybe if they weren’t terrible neighbors more people wouldn’t seek out NATO protection.

Tucker does not support Putin.  Full stop.  Please be smarter than this.

He did say he supports him in the Donetsk/Luhansk region.   Tucker made that statement a few years ago.   And the Donetsk/Luhansk situation is much more complex than Americans who just started caring about Ukraine 4 days ago should be commenting on.   Those regions are Russian speaking and identify as Russian.   Also have been warring with Ukrainian and Azov forces for years.

He also is critical of NATO and Western Imperalism.  As are the DSA and far left commentators like Jimmy Dore and Aaron Mate.   That doesn’t mean they support Putin.

Hardly anyone supports a full scale invasion into Ukraine. I haven’t come across one reputable person - on either political side - that believes this ok.

How is NATO western imperialism? These countries CHOOSE to be allied because they want guarantees in case they are attacked. That’s just to bad for Putin and Russia. Maybe if they didn’t suck, people might not want a safe alliance. NATO is purely for defense. So saying it’s an aggressive force is just Russian propaganda.

If Cuba wanted to join Russia, we have no right to dictate a sovereign countries choices.

Where has Tucker said he supports Putin and his actions here?

He's said the exact opposite - don't confuse highlighting the fact that the Democrats and their policies (Go Green!) are a large part of what's enabled Putin to do this with supporting Putin.

Dude Tucker shills for Russia all the time.
Besides the point, nobody enabled Putin to do anything. He is his own agent and fully responsible for his own actions. Nobody forced Putin to be evil, he did so on his on accord. Nobody is responsible for that, only Putin is. That’s like saying if you left your wallet on the checkout counter and started walking away, and you saying you enabled the clerk to steal your wallet. No, the clerk could have done the right thing and returned it.

If Cuba wanted to join Russia and allowed Russia to war game/put their weaponry miles off the American mainland … there is zero chance America would let that happen.

NATO/Western Imperialism is their terminology… I’m not saying I agree or disagree, but just like America wouldn’t allow enemies at the gate, I get why Russia wouldn’t either.

That being said, I think Putin is using that as part justification for the fact he just wants to fulfill a personal goal in regaining Soviet land.

We already have nuclear weapons in NATO countries though. So it’s hypocritical to deny another country to do so in Cuba or wherever. I personally don’t care, it’s every sovereign countries choice. But I don’t see why Russia is mad at Ukraine for wanting to join NATO, they already have NATO counties on their border. Putin just can’t accept his sphere of influence is dwindling. He’s acting out and wants the former USSR together, so I agree with you there. The problem is physical imperialism at gun point is absolutely wrong and should not be tolerated. Putin has to be dealt with.

Ukraine is a European nation wanting to Join the European Union. And Russia would have zero threat from NATO if it was not a dictatorship run by the remnants of the KGB.

There is 0.0% chance America would allow Russia to put nuclear weapons in Cuba.

Which considering we have them in Germany and other places in Europe, it would be hypocritical to not allow it. If we are truly worried about it with Cuba, then we shouldn’t have any in Europe. We can still have a NATO alliance but no nuclear bombs.

Oh well I guess. NATO alliances are important when facing a crazy country like Russia. Just look what happens when they don’t have an alliance. I bet Ukraine wishes they would have never given up their nukes now.

I feel like there would be some kind of quandary, or stress event, or even, dare I say, a crisis, if Russia tried to put missiles in Cuba 😀

At the time, I could see that being an issue, seeming how we didn’t have any nuclear bombs near Russia that could be deemed “fair” . Russia would have a distinct advantage with missiles in Cuba. Now, I don’t see why it would matter, because we would both have weapons close to each other.

Tough scenes this morning.

Tokyo Rose Tucker is a mess who gets his ratings from guys like the AFPAC group that applauded Russia nad launched a Putin chant Friday night before MTG was introduced. Hopefully a minority of people.  That he’s being broadcast in RT says a lot. Look for him this week to change his tune.
