What’s true: There is a Nazi force fighting for Ukrainians that has support of the Ukrainian government in the war against Russia. What’s not true: Ukraine is not a Nazi country and does not need to be “de-nazified”. We should be able to come to these conclusions without our media deciding what the masses are allowed to know. An official Ukrainian National Guard account tweeting out a Nazi battalion dipping bullets in pig lard to kill Chechen Muslims is worth reporting on… even if we support Ukraine. Actually, drones are pretty effective, not sure where you're getting that part. Agreed on most of the rest. Ukraine has some very effective drone technology from Hungary of all places. SCBills Posted February 28, 2022 Share Posted February 28, 2022 Going into Day 5 of the first war between two modern countries in the technology age and we have one video of a missile hitting an apartment building and one oil depot fire… but I’m supposed to believe 3,000 Russian troops have been killed, multiple transport planes/helicopters shot down outside Kyiv and busted up tanks are strewn across the countryside…. Drones are effective until the drone target, with some anti air capability, gets annoyed by them. At that point, they are paper airplanes. They are really slow. Why should we not know why he’s saying that? Ukraine does have a fringe population that is Neo-Nazi. Reuters has reported on it in the past few years. We see the Ukrainian National Guard tweeting out video of the Azov Battalion. It’s worth noting. It’s also worth noting that this is a FRINGE population within Ukraine. Most of Ukraine is certainly not into Nazi ideology. Western media simply won’t touch it, so people are left wondering, or just don’t care, why Putin keeps talking about Nazi’s. Thats why. It’s also why, once we look into it, we realize it’s a joke of a claim and not enough to warrant anything remotely close to what’s he’s doing. I don’t understand why some people feel like we can’t absorb opposition info and only must hear the narrative of the “good side”. It’s worth it to critically think through situations and acknowledge and/or confirm/debunk claims made by our allies and enemies. No one owns a 100% monopoly on the truth. Especially in war. Russia is our enemy. Ukraine is full of innocent people who’s sovereign land is being invaded. That doesn’t mean we can’t question what we’re being told. And if you believe over 3k Russian troops have been killed, with planes/helicopters/tanks annihilated all over the place with zero verifiable evidence, then I don’t know what to tell you. Ukraine is also waging a propaganda war - and I don’t blame them. They should. Id just rather our media didn’t shape the narrative over every single thing. If that 4,000 Russian figure is accurate I can’t imagine the Ukrainian losses. The only figures I can seem to find are civilian Ukrainian casualty figures.
