Outside of Week 2, we can't pressure the QB, and we cannot block for our own. Without a change here, we aren't going anywhere this year. billsfan714 Posted November 21, 2021 Share Posted November 21, 2021 Hughes is running on fumes....Epenesa doesn't seem like he will be a DE that gets consistent pressure. The Carolina cast offs and the rest are not really good at stopping the run or getting pressure, collapsing the pocket, clogging running lanes. This Bills defense has shown a propensity to take away pass or run and make the offense 1-dimensional. That certainly was not the case today. Your right sacks lead to fumbles, interceptions 3 and a mile QB rushing throws because his getting sacked. And so on, pressures mean the QB standing tall making a tight throw. Livinginthepast Posted November 21, 2021 Share Posted November 21, 2021 Addison's whiff on Wentz in the pocket (on his long first down run) was one of the worst attempted tackles I have ever seen. That's his only job to tackle a guy and he failed. The resulting play was a huge swing in the game. Aside from that they just couldnt dial in a blitz that got them even close.
