Covid Protocols 2022

Recommended Posts

So all these NFL players only know they have it because they test everyday or however many times a week.

Meaning by the time they are told to go home they've been spreading it around for likely days........like 100s of millions of people around the world every day who will never get tested.

So stupid.

When you get down to it I think they're just incapable of saying "it's time to sack up and live with it."

That's too toxically masculine or something.

Just now, The Frankish Reich said:

Well if you think something relatively innocuous like being required to wear a mask is a horrific intrusion on your freedoms, yes.

If it only ended there you might have a point. But you know it would never end there. Next thing you know your health insurance is canceled because you are not wearing a mask in public. Or maybe you will be fired by your woke company for not towing the line?

It won’t end with just wearing a mask.

You were duped and every single one of you should be livid.

They intimidated and allowed their members to be shamed over a vaccine that never ever did what they sold it as - and everyone believed what they were selling it as.

They thought it would slowly eradicate the virus.  That's what everyone thought we were doing.  "For the greater good."

No it's a vaccine that lessens your chance of dying.  Apparently.  So celebrate the medical scientific marvel it is and live your lives maskless and free.

Like they've been doing in Florida since March 2020.

Real quick data analysis

Michigan: 9 million people

Michigan (lockdown hole) now at 2750 deaths per million

27,000

Florida (world's last best hope) is at 2890

61,000

Over twice the population - and the math is the same.

You keep telling yourself these state mandates you think keep you safe at Kohls do anything.

Horrific intrusion on my freedoms?  Good lord dude.  Where the ***** did that come from??

Now back to my question you so conveniently sidestepped. Why do you feel masking up children is necessary?

Well, you guys are the ones all worked up about masks. So if they're not a horrific intrusion on your freedoms, I'm not sure why you incessantly post about masks.

I didn't say I believed "masking up children is necessary." In fact, I think in most places and times it isn't. It's probably overall a bad idea.

But a "bad idea" or "bad policy" isn't exactly a new thing. Again, on the grand scale of things, it's just not that big a deal. Elected governments and their appointed officers decide that public health is best served by requiring masks. So what? Vote for someone else to be on your school board. Where I live that's exactly what happened - a Colorado school board was basically tossed out because (wait for it ....) the parents were all worked up about a mask requirement. Chef Jim, I imagine at one point or another you were required to wear a chef hat in your commercial kitchens. So ... why wasn't that the WORST THING EVER?

The level of paranoia about this is just idiotic. It's a policy decision, one that is made as part of a public healthy cost/benefit calculation, that you may think is warranted or unwarranted. Just like hundreds of other policy decisions. Yet this one is part of some diabolical scheme to ... to what? Same with vaccine mandates. A public choice. I needed vaccines to go to school. My kids needed vaccines to go to school. Now all of a sudden it's akin to a satanic plot to require a vaccine.

People need to grow up.

Being in masks means there is something to fear.  They got you at this point.

When there is something to fear idiots will look to the State to fix it.

The State's version of fixing it is not what you think it is and all the interests involved.

They are already going to limit capacity in Ontario as you saw.

These are power grabs.  If they sense enough voters are good with the *safety* they bring, they'll run on it.  The other side clearly wants you dead.

None of this is science.

None of this is necessary.

None of this is for a "greater good."  My greater good is my family.  Not yours.

It's doing nothing but creating more division and more harm - especially ya know, since they don't work.

Being forced to cover ones face/ nose/ mouth for the privilege of walking around in a public is not innocuous to me. It’s a horrific intrusion .

I remember being forced to wear a seatbelt while driving around in public was all the outrage.  Just vote the people who push for mask mandates out.  It's really the only way.

So you think it’s a bad idea which in your mind is cool.  We think it’s a bad idea we’re horrified of the intrusion.

Well isn’t this the epitome of partisan bull spit.

Yes people, like you, need to grow up. 🙄

No comparison to a seatbelt around your lap in a car, but your overall assessment on the vote is likely true. Sadly , here in WNY ( or just NYS in general) there are simply too many lefty nut jobs to overcome. Voting for the D is a way of life. A few Counties in NYS have shown some sack and declared that they won’t follow this ridiculous mandate but of course Erie isn’t one of them.

To be fair the cumulative death rate per 100K is more accurate.  The above is a 14 day rolling average death rate per 100K.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/1109011/coronavirus-covid19-death-rates-us-by-state/

Also, the health risks and demographics of a state are far more correlated to the death rate than public policy.  This CDC site does an excellent job of displaying those risks.

https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/?CDC_AA_refVal=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cdc.gov%2Fcoronavirus%2F2019-ncov%2Fcases-updates%2Fcases-in-us.html#underlying-med-conditions
