If it's a situation that a team is losing badly in a blow out, I almost feel positive someone will let him know. If for nothing else, just that very reason, to pull some starters. But I suspect they will not inform him or anyone unless it's a definite situation in which there is no question that said team is losing, or winning. McDermott when asked about it, didn’t see It as something to protect his guys from.
