If Hyde can go, it’s no big deal. As long as Dane Jackson’s game against the Jets wasn’t a fluke, we might be fine.

I hope so too but the jets have one of the worst we corps in the league. This is gonna be a much bigger test (Hopkins, Fitzgerald, and Kirk) and I’m really worried if tre is out

Why do you think Tre is out?  It's Norman and Wallace, with Hyde questionable and his backup (Marlow) also out.  See Sal C's very useful list upthread.

Just remembered he went down last game and haven’t looked at the injury report in a couple games. Good to hear and thanks for the update.

still worried about the matchup with Johnson as the number 2 cb

Gotta be honest their WRs aren’t that bad. Better than NE. No they aren’t as good as Cardinals but they aren’t terrible.

He's not listed as questionable, so assumption is "good to go", but Wallace and Norman are out so we got Dane Jackson on the other side...pulling for him to show up and show out!

Micah Hyde is listed as questionable, and his primary backup Dean Marlow is out.

McKenzie has several videos of him throwing passes (not at Bills practice, looks like a HS field somewhere with palm trees, maybe helping some friends or relatives practice routes), up on his Instagram story at present.

His Insta username is zee_thoven and you have to follow him, it's in his story.   I'm no expert in QB nuances, but looks like he has decent footwork, a nice rotational throwing motion and can throw different routes with anticipation.  He doesn't have a cannon, but neither does Barkley.

I don't know how to capture video off Instagram and repost it here for you all to judge

Anyway, based on that, I wouldn't assume that Barkley did all the throwing.

Like that video clip of Dion Dawkins lining up at WR and juking McKensie out of his shorts to make some neat grabs, it's a reminder that all of these guys in the NFL are incredible athletes who were likely multi-sport standouts in HS and could have played multiple sports at the college level.

Thanks didn’t realize this. Considering McKenzie won the throwing competition last year maybe he did pass the rock 🤪.  Maybe they got into a back and forth cause of his experience which is where the throwing competition came from.

My guess would be Barkley has some read-and-react skills and can make some throws that McKensie can't, but I was actually impressed by how well that 'lil guy can sling it.    He's taken those videos down though.

McKittrick can play any position. WR, Corner, QB ... he’s one of my favorite players, that kid.

I think this is playing with fire. If they choose to go this route, it will be aptly timed and not overly used. Delayed blitzes, overloads, etc. But I can't see them bringing 5 or 6 consistently.

Watching Kyler handle blitzes poorly against Miami I beg to differ. Send the edge safety/corners and make him read it. He was brutal when Miami blitzed,  which wasn’t much...
