  1. Just remembered he went down last game and haven’t looked at the injury report in a couple games. Good to hear and thanks for the update. still worried about the matchup with Johnson as the number 2 cb
  2. I hope so too but the jets have one of the worst we corps in the league. This is gonna be a much bigger test (Hopkins, Fitzgerald, and Kirk) and I’m really worried if tre is out
  3. I genuinely think that BB's plan was to go with Stidham and tank this year to get one of the top QB's coming out next year. I also think that he changed his mind when Cam fell into his lap and he wanted to show everyone that his genius is the reason NE won all those championships, not Brady. If this is the case, thank the football gods because idk what I would do if NE got Lawrence or Fields.
  4. This is one of my biggest gripes with the Bills D this year. Our defense reveals who is blitzing way to easily. We are so quick to get a jump to sack the quarterback that we reveal our coverage on the hard count almost every time. I see our LBs and DBs do this all the time. Chris Simms brought up a good point during this same podcast that it's not worth getting to the QB a half second earlier if you reveal the coverage pre-snap. We need to start confusing our opponents QBs more
  5. This guy has missed almost 20% of his NFL career due to suspensions. We constantly complain on here about guys who are always injured (myself included) and can't make it on the field. This guy chooses (with his actions) time and time again that he doesn't have restraint when he plays. Also, I am sick of defending Bills players that have character issues because of how talented they are, and in the long-run, they end up hurting the team (Marcell Dareus comes to mind).
  6. Yeah except when Roger's compensation is partially determined by 3 owners and one of them is the party being investigated!
  7. To me it doesn't matter if Belichick was collecting signs to use it against the Bengals. His organization did something clearly stated as illegal in filming the opponents sidelines. Those independent contractors are hired by the NE organization to do a job. They were carrying out directives from NE. Whether it is a video for their website or whatever doesn't matter. They were filming the opponents sidelines. On top of that, these same excuses made by NE were stated as protocol if they ever got caught filming during spygate part 1. I mean how much more evidence do you need that they are clearly in the wrong?
  8. It is really disgusting that the NFL allows NE to keep on cheating. The corruption runs so deep. At the very least, how is still Kraft one of the three owners who decides Goodell's salary? How is Kraft not punished at all for his prostitution scandal when players are punished for not football matters all the time? How can anyone believe that Belicheat had no idea this was going on when he is literally the most detailed coach that I have ever seen in any sport? Furthermore, the previous spygate scandal revealed that "The videographers also were provided with excuses for what to tell NFL security if asked what they were doing: Tell them you're filming the quarterbacks. Or the kickers. Or footage for a team show." I mean seriously, this is such a joke and really disheartening because I am a huge Bills fan but can't stand this league and what they stand for.
  9. I agree... Daboll obviously made some changes starting with moving up to the booth. I have to tip my hat to McDermott on this one too. He stated that things needed to change after the Browns game, and they have. He knows when to step in and shift the mindset/game plan when coordinators are failing. This happened last year with Frazier also when the defense looked bad at the beginning of the season. After that, you could see the defense blitzing more and taking a more aggressive mindset.
  10. I'm all for it. I am a huge fan of Milano but he has been caught out of position too many times since he returned from injury. Sign Brown to push Milano a little bit and may the best man win. And like Brianmoorman4jesus said, Alexander is getting old and is really a situational linebacker/pass rusher. I trust McBean's decision to sign him or not in this situation though, they have much better insight into whether Brown can help this team
  11. They have to go with Singletary more for the rest of the game and hope Allen finds a few receivers on the medium and long throws. This is a rough game for Allen hopefully it’s just rust
  12. This⬆️ ..... this may be the catalyst to finally bringing down the dynasty. Come on AB do your thing and destroy this locker room!
  13. I see the pass rush as our biggest weakness this year too. I’m a little worried that teams are going to double team Oliver in passing situations with the knowledge that star can’t get any penetration. It’s up to our defensive ends to win one on one battles if we plan on rushing 4
  14. I think he can be an eventual replacement for Zo also. If you watch him in his film, he looks pretty good at timing blitzes (which seems hard to teach) and has the speed to turn the corner. I love the pick
  15. I would not be upset if we went with Hock at 9 but I am weary. TJ rose up the boards after the combine because of his workout times which always scares me. Fant is the player that I would prefer because he has proven himself on the field. If DK and TJ are both examples of guys who shoot up the board because of their athleticism, not their production on the field. Give me a DL at 9
  16. It's definitely the perfect time for the Bills to pick a mid round rb prospect in the draft. I got my fingers crossed for Benny Snell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuoUf5hzffk He carried the University of Kentucky team for the last couple of years. I'm surprised his draft stock isn't higher
  17. I would be happy with Josh showing progress particularly in the mental part of his game. I pick three things: 1. Throw a pass with anticipation where Josh read the defense and recognized weak spots to take advantage of 2. Read a blitz and quickly convert a hot route pass to counter it 3. Stop showing excitement when you flop on a personal foul call. It doesn't project a good image and refs will catch on Imho, we are never going to be a great team without a quarterback and Josh Allen needs to show improvement
  18. I would be all for bringing him here but I think most Bills fans' heads will explode if we trade or acquire another player on the defensive side of the ball before addressing the Oline, WR situation.
  19. Sure the fronts of Cleveland and Cinci were stronger than the Panthers D when we played them but these stats provide something to gauge these QBs by. I have not seen any of the summer practices and don't know which QB got more reps. As for the eye test, I can see is that Peterman goes through his progressions quickly, he shows a lot of touch on his passes (sometimes too much and it gets intercepted), has good anticipation, isn't afraid to push the ball downfield, and is only in his second year. Allen has a great arm, great athleticism, great feel for the pocket but seems to need time to have better anticipation and time to learn the playbook more. I would not be surprised if Peterman doesn't pan out and Allen is starting by week 5 but right now I think Peterman. I haven't seen enough of AJ yet
  20. Maybe they won't but I would bet on the guy who proved he could do it in preseason rather than a player that has been inconsistent and hoping that he will show up when the games count. Allen is the fancy new toy but he should not start yet
  21. I think the clear choice to start the season is Peterman. This preseason he has an 80% completion percentage, 3 TDs, 1 Int, and a 124.7 QB rating. Those numbers alone warrant him to start. I want Allen to be the man as much as anyone but there is no arguing these statistics. Each QB on the roster has had a chance to start and has been given an equal amount of preseason reps so these statistics are comparable. Plus Peterman has the release to handle a shaky oline, while the game has not slowed down enough for Allen yet. I think this is a clear choice. Peterman may not pan out but his stats clearly show that he deserves to start Week 1.
