Some might call your actions cyber bullying. Have you ever thought about that?

Really???   I didn't think so, but then I'm just a stupid, ignorant, idiotic, socialist commie leftie, so please enlighten me as to exactly what in my statement you find to be an ad hominem attack.   I've cut and pasted my post that you quoted to make it easier for you to explain.

"I did, however, read SDS's long post, which the two posters either did not do or didn't understand if they did or, worse, chose to ignore what he wrote in order to defend a cyber bully who got banned for repeatedly defying the MB rules after being suspended for a while for the same behavior. "

Yes I’m part of the Buffalo Bills community. I just don’t follow the team.  Got a problem with that?

Dude, it's your loss.  If ever there was a season to be a Bills fan since the Glory Years, it's this one.   This ain't Dick Jauron's smoke and mirrors 2008 4-0 Bills that went 2-10 the rest of the season.  These Bills are the real deal.  Barring catastrophic injuries, this Bills team is playoff bound on rocket led by Josh Allen.  Join the fun and get on the bandwagon before it's too late!

Stick around.

I’d say that to anyone who’s already threatened to leave (or left already).

Nah, they'll be back.   Probably under a different name, though.

This is probably peripheral to the discussion I've been trying to have, but the above responses beg the question... Did DR come after the one verifiably known person here that is actually on the sex offender registry?

Again, not trying to be argumentative. Just curious given the unique situation.

No.

The fact that he never called out that poster but called out others was pointed out often, though, when that person used to post here.

Sorry. It’s not worth it.  My Sunday’s are a joy now not spending the whole day around a game that has 12 minutes of actual action.   It’s pretty safe to assume that even though they are 4-0 the game day threads are full of people bitching. And to be honest the game day threads were incredibly entertaining. 😂

I don't bother with the game day threads very often.  I watch the game.  I really feel sorry for all the season ticket holders who had tix for decades of crappy football and now, when the Bills are finally playing well, can't see them in person.  I used to be one of them but the Jauron extension in 2009 was the last straw for me as a season ticket holder.  I've gone to a few games since (most of my buds are as old or older than me, so it's harder to find a crew to go), but I still miss game days.  Tailgating would be ssssooooo great this season.  In fact, last Sunday, I was at  my localTops about 10 am, and the folks who own a small business with a couple of garage bays in their building were setting up their tailgate complete with Bills flags, grill, etc outside one of the bays.  I was tempted to introduce myself and join the fun, but I settled for just honking my horn and giving them the thumbs up as I drove by.

I think the only appropriate thing to say here is that the lack of suspension does not imply what your suggesting.

And for the record, it’s been 6.75 years.

I will also say, for better or worse, depending on the time frame we all change. I’m nothing like the 29 year that started this. Nor the 35 year old. Nor the 45 year old.

My recollection is that it's been quite a bit longer than that. He used to go under the name of "Greggy T" and possibly another version of Greg. I know I've been on this board for about 13 years and can remember posting here at Sabrespace when I was on the road and looking for a good local place to watch the Sabres. I can also remember posting something political on either Sabrespace or TSW and Lori gently directed me to PPP. "Greggy T" and I got into it a bit early on regarding political correctness and race relations. BTW, he was open about the name change. Anyway, the issue regarding DR is what it is. He certainly may not be innocent and may very well deserve to get a good smack around. His suspension or banning seems rather harsh for someone who has been hounded incessantly by a group of posters who have invaded this place spewing total nonsense with the intention of driving posters away and making this place uninhabitable. This place is losing good long term posters, not because DR was naughty and is being punished, but because thread after thread has been filled by nonsense from posters who not only don't give a damn about this place, but would just as soon see it torn down.

Pure hyperbole.  Who precisely wants to see “this place . . . torn down?”  From what I can tell, that’s a reshaping of another imagined position, e.g., that those who disagree with Donald Trump and the current administration “hate America” and “want to see it destroyed.”

It’s weird not being there.  I drive by the stadium on game days if we’re out and about just so I can see the place.  Sad, bizarre, strange, etc.  I hope we’re back for a playoff game and for next year, but I have my doubts on both of those fronts.

It's obvious where you are coming from and what you want to impart. My posts in this thread haven't been about politics per se, but about the terrible quality of the posts and posters recently. There's a reason you can't see the difference List Boy. Your brainless responses to others put you right there with one whole foot and 2 toes in with the Trash Posters.

Who evaluates quality of posts and posters?  Because, let’s be honest.  A lot of people think the post you just made is of poor quality.

Look who gives you the thumbs up vs who gives me positive responses. You are admired by the likes of Gary. Do I need to say more? As a (supposed) attorney you don't know the value of keeping silent. You have to respond to everything, leaving your flanks devoid of protection. The fact that you never got past 3rd Chair status is because no one wants you speaking up for them. It's as if Hamilton Burger was your mentor.

Quite the argument.

You might want to do a little research before making posts like the above. Out of 10705 reactions to my posts, 98.9% of them have been positive. I'd say that it makes you look rather foolish but I just think of it as a confirmation of your foolishness.

Yeah, this is another bad post.  Mean-spirited, humorless, and unintelligent.  Lots of people think this is a bad post. And, if you’re not careful, lots of people will think you’re a bad poster, irrespective of what the mutual admiration society of which you’re a part may say.

Wow I missed this. What kind of a messed up threat is this?

Let's discuss the DR squad and why I made the assertion that PPP was a problem again shall we?

Just quit and go to The Parlor and have a great time.

3rd Chair, jealous that I belong to a much larger mutual admiration society of respectable people while he gets to slum with Gary, Kemp & BillSlime.

Obviously not a very high bar as we learned in 2009.

Hoax.  I’m not jealous.  I don’t need the validation of Internet randos.  Apparently you do.  Sad!

Yet the only ones upvoting him are the ones who bought tinfoil hats.

I didn't report him. I was not in the middle of his behavior of either of his suspensions. I was not the guy who created multiple accounts while suspended that made SDS have to block them. I was not the guy who came back and started copying SDS on emails. I was not the guy who started doing EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS SUSPENDED FOR after he came back.

And I was also not the guy who threatened to hurt SDS by his real name.

I'm firmly entrenched in the old fart club too.....and glad to be there.  Some of my best days were spent tooling around in my old '69 Fury listening to 8-tracks.

I just bought myself a new victrola and dug out my old vinyl.

Who'da thought the day would come when vinyl records were popular again and CD's were considered old fashioned???

I still have my cassette player from the '80's, a high end JVC double deck. Some things I only have on cassette, tons of bootleg stuff.

Ok, if you have 78's you are old, and you got me beat.

CD's are considered old fashioned? And to think I just bought 150 of the best love songs from the 60's and 70's on the recommendations of Bobby Vinton and Leslie Gore. They had me when they mentioned I could pay for them in 5 easy payments.

Scott has had articles written about him in the Buffalo News so I wonder where this came from?

I do not feel they owe an explanation either. As you say, it is a private site. However, it is becoming more and more difficult to identify what type of posting earns a ban.

I can maybe shed some light on that.

Back a few years ago there was at least one article about twobillsdrive. I'd try searching that and The Stadium Wall, Sabrespace and The Aud Club or ask SDS what he has.

Yeah, I am. Took me a while to figure out how. That said, PPP is being raided, which should be concerning. New rando accounts spamming here are not even Bills' fans, and come here to frap on many who have posted here for years.I hope the real posters don't give in, as this place is currently under attack.

Well; just think about what some people do outside of the internet. I mean; we are talking sincere mental illness here. Not only are they mostly incapable of functioning in a normal society; they have no control over their emotions and often reside outside the realm of reality mentally. The worst part about it is; these types are in positions of influence with education and entertainment. Never in my life, have I ever witnessed so many people sit around and pointing the finger and blaming others for the very stuff they do.

So; I’m less concerned about a message board than I am of the real world but I understand what you mean. We have a mental illness problem in this country. It’s already made it’s way through most of the rest of the world and thanks to complacency; it’s now here.

Don’t engage them. It gives them the feeing that they’re somehow more important than you and that they’re affecting your life. Engage with the normal ones who can carry on an adult conversation without stroking out.
