Whose lives has been improved by BLM winning?

Recommended Posts

I ask this in all seriousness because as far as I can tell the winners from their rise to global power are a few leaders of BLM and the Democrat party have gained financially but the everyday lives of most black people have gotten worse. Blacks are currently dying a faster clip in major cities than at any time in at least a dozen years, the majority black area of cities are being torn apart by riots, and  the one place inner city blacks were allowed to excel, charter schools, are being decimated.

Gee Timmy,

I can tell you in the state I live in just passed some common sense police reforms. GOP governor....mixed legislature.  On the local TV they interviewed the police chiefs of the two largest forces....they pretty much said “Yup....some pretty straightforward things...we are on board...look forward to working with the state and citizens to a better result”. They interviewed a BLM person who said “Thanks for listening”. Governor managed the whole process in a simple manner even the without priceless input from geniuses like @Unforgiven.

I would say the lives of the  citizens of my state have been improved and it makes me happy to see things like this can happen.

It’s helped me see that I grossly underestimated the number of stupid people who exist. Since the virus and political posturing began; I’ve been able to rid myself of the thinking that good exists in all people and realize that Charles Darwin’s theory on natural selection and other evolutionary concepts are a sham.

It's reinforced my suspicion I have had for years. Systemic racism is a construct. A glove or skin communism puts on to tear down the free market, individual liberty, Bill Of Rights and the Constitution. The same can be said for the climate change hoax. Same goal but instead of emotion fueled stimulus they use scientism. Something that can't be questioned because the new priests, scientists, are pretty much the deity now.

It's helping me out. I'm saving money on my MLB extra innings subscription and my bills season tickets. Neither of which I will be renewing.

When you should be cancelling your Sabres season tickets...

And my answer would be "funeral homes"?

Race relations is the worst it has ever been in my lifetime...we have regressed so far and I feel like there is zero trust...it absolutely sucks walking into a store and seeing the fear in people’s eyes- like I’m going to burn everything down...I hate identity politics to the core! MLK is rolling in his grave...this is not what he worked for...

The dominant LW media is complicit with feeding the fervor of what is going on now.

They haven't gotten over Hillary losing, and had she won, they would be calming, not stoking rage.

It's manufactured division.  Mostly by media and whackos.  It's really not hard to treat all people you comes across as people and in a friendly fashion and treat dogs and cats as dogs and cats.  Flies found indoors don't get the same consideration.

BLM will not win because the idea has been co-opted by Marxist and ANTIFA.  This stopped being anything about black lives being treated as if they mattered weeks ago. This isn’t about race anymore. It’s all about anarchy.

Honestly I think things still the same maybe worse in fact. There is always going to be bad people out there. No matter who you are. Always been like this for all history.  But can do is help people the basics and change that.  For the good and love. People can try change that for people. But like I said always going to be bad people throughtout time.

Just curious. In what way is BLM perceived as winning?  How would you judge "winning" or "losing" in two months time, in the middle of a pandemic, and mass unemployment?

....and that isn't lost on people which is why the whole thing isn't benefiting anyone as much as it's benefiting President Trump.
