2020 Election is officially Trump vs Biden

The distraught and desperate Democrats are flailing

by Patricia McCarthy

Original Article

What accounts for the frenzied shift to hysterical language among leftists when attempting to demean the president every time they open their mouths?

That is an easy question; they know that Biden is a pathetic loser and that Trump is going to defeat him handily in November.

Sure, the constant din of their hateful slings and arrows may have done some damage, but not nearly enough for him to lose the election, and the Democrats know it.

Thus, we hear terms like "storm troopers," "militia," "private troops," and other nonsensical language to describe Trump's light-touch attempts at rescuing those Democrat-run cities

There's nothing in the article mentioning the couple are Trump voters.

If this was previously posted, apologies:

2020 Democratic Party Platform

Here is the article.

Pretty standard and not that different than 2016.  Some things that jumped out to me.

-They should emphasize Universal Pre K, $15 minimum wage, and adding a public option.  Specific policies that can improve people's lives.

-No mention of New Green Deal, defunding police, or recreational marijuana legalization.

-I wish they'd end all federal funding for Charter schools but for profit one's are a good start.  They at least call for more accountability for Charter schools but I have my doubts.

Universal Pre-K would NOT “improve people’s lives”

It would make society worse, not better

No Chance Joe is also a coward.

I'm glad you're back.

The next few months will be frustrating for me because you don't just double down and roll snake eyes you keep on going as you bet your own mortgage along with your parents' retirement.

Biden and the campaign are doing the smartest thing ANY campaign could possibly do at this point:

Stay out of the spotlight and let the incumbent destroy himself.

You're inevitability going to come back with some ridiculous retort arguing "No chance Joe" has... well... no chance--gee, you're so darn clever--which is why the next few months will be so frustrating.

Because I really, truly and honestly wish you would just see the light already.

But in the end, the avatar I give you will be enough for awhile.

He can't do an unscripted interview, even with someone as friendly to him as Wallace.

Either that or he saw what a disaster Trump was and understood reality:

Mission accomplished

You're so weird.

Is this the kind of stuff you watch all day? So this really is you then?

Minnesota couple who wore Nazi flag face covering told not to return: report

A Minnesota couple that was seen in a video on social media wearing a Nazi swastika flag on Saturday inside a Walmart was told not to return to the store for at least a year, reports said.

“What happened today at our store in Marshall, MN is unacceptable,” a Walmart spokesperson said in a statement obtained by Fox 6 Now. “We strive to provide a safe and comfortable shopping environment for all our customers and will not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment in any aspect of our business.”

I see everyone reporting this one way, but I took it quite another: masks were ordered for all by the governor. My guess is these people were calling the governor a Nazi... or at least his order is the opposite of freedom.

The woman in the video said that she was wearing the mask to warn Americans about socialism. She was confronted in the store by other shoppers who called the move “sick.”

“In a stunning reverse of position, Walmart has changed its punishment: rather than ban the couple from the store for a year, the couple is now being forced to be at Walmart for the next year.

Your candidate is so weak, so afraid, he's hiding. He acknowledges that he won't even be the chief executive, but he'll outsource his decisions to unelected officials the party chooses -- which is about the most unamerican thing that one could design... and you support it.

Just like you're supporting a man who's been in the system for 40+ years, built it (including the systemic racism inherent in our judicial system which you've been wailing about), a man who's been corrupt since he got there -- with China, with Ukraine, with the credit card companies, a man who's deeply racist and proves it with not just his words but actions... and you support it.

You're in for a ROUGH 99 days.

They seem like an easy Target to make national headlines for mask shaming.

Hey Doc—on the flip side, what would you envision a beneficial Universal pre-K to look like, and what would the curriculum include?

Also, what’s your beef with funding for Charter schools?

First off.  It would be optional.  Many low income students who enter kindergarten are behind immediately and make it difficult to catch up.  Low income parents wouldn't have to pay for a preschool program or a babysitter.  Screening would make it easier to identify kids with potential learning disabilities before they enter kindergarten so they get the extra services they need.  Curriculum wise it would be similar to the Head Start program.  Make sure children entering kindergarten have the basic reading and math skills while still providing ample time to play with other children (making acclimation into kindergarten easier).

My problem with charter schools are a lack of accountability and oversight making it ripe for corruption, high teacher turnover because of low pay, poor track record on services for kids with disabilities, no solid evidence of them providing better outcomes than public schools so they're just a drain on public funding for regular schools (which enhances the negative public perception of them), they can cherry pick students, and kick out difficult students who the public schools are forced to accept.
