Who Wins More Games in 2020 - Bucs or Pats

I think you have to take the Bucs, at least until we know what the Patriots are going to look like next season. They still have a path to being good but it's obviously much more difficult now. The Bucs will likely be a powerhouse on paper at least. We'll see how it all comes together but I would tend to think they should be a double-digit win team this season.

I had the Buccs as my surprise NFC playoff team last year. Obviously it didn't quite happen but they are a threat if Brady is anything like himself.

Bucs are going to be really good - they lost quite a few close ones last year, largely due to untimely turnovers from Winston.

A deep playoff run wouldn't surprise me.

I think the Pats are all in on a rebuilding year - if not a full blown tank.

Bucaneers will be very tough this year. You'll see what a difference he makes, even in his 40's. Bellechick is good, but no good QB's unless he can make a last minute bid for Tanny. Maybe he'll have to tank after all.

Going to be tough to sign Tannehill after the Titans just gave him a huge deal a week ago.

If Brady isn’t shot, Bucs will win 11+ games easily.

Pats aren’t winning 11+ games IMO no matter who they put at QB.  Losing Brady and key defensive personnel is too much to remain a top 5 team.

I say Bucs are a super bowl contender as of now until Brady shows what he is or isn’t on the field.  There’s no moves Pats can make that I think puts them into that category today.

Wouldn't ever rule out the Patriots. Billicheat once won 10 games with Cassel. There is never a real doubt in my mind that the Patriots will be a thorn in our side until the hoodie is gone.

That being said, gun to my head, I think the Buccs.

Very hard to say at this time.

Brady and the Bucs have way more offensive talent, but Arians loves high flying passes going all over - a la Winston, Palmer, etc.  Big armed guys slinging it all over.  Can Brady do that?  He seems to believe he can and wants to prove it, but that to me means more QB hits and from what I saw last year - I am not sure his arm is up to it.

Depending upon Brady’s arm and deep accuracy both of which I have begun to question, the Bucs could be anywhere from a 6 win to an 11 win team.

The Pats offense looks bare, but they still support a top flight defense that has lost a few pieces - we will see if in the draft they can replace.  Until we see a more complete roster - they could be anywhere from a 5 win to a 12 win team - I just don’t know.

My best guess is that they are pretty close right around 8-8 and we see both can’t win without the other right now.

IMO  No.  His arm will be shot by week 5

I agree, but it sounds like something Brady thinks he can still do.  One of many reasons he wanted out.

I think it ends poorly because I think the longer routes and weaker arm leads to more sacks and Ints for Brady - until they adjust the offense to his limitations.
