Congrats to Tyson though, he came in ready to fight and with a perfect gameplan. He's just too big and his arms are too long for anyone in the division right now. LeviF Posted February 24, 2020 Share Posted February 24, 2020 So everyone's guess was that Wilder's ear drum got ruptured in the 3rd because of all the blood and his balance disappearing. This morning I was hearing that wasn't actually the case, just a cut inside his ear. Fury just threw him off that early I guess. Would love to see a fight for the undisputed. Hopefully the promoters and sanctioning orgs can get it worked out for this summer. And Wilder does the smart thing and takes the summer off. But I wonder what a guy like Larry Holmes or, if he was still alive, Ken Norton would be thinking about these guys? Norton and Holmes a couple levels above as far as skill and boxing ability goes. When I watch the heavies today that seems to be the biggest difference. Defensive skills are not great either. Still fun though. Fury could use some better marketing as well.
