I don't know that he is really playing any better than Allen is right now. If you are talking career wise... well then yeah duh. He has been better than just about any QB since ever. Not just Bills QBs.

Call_Of_Ktulu
He just couldn’t wait until after the season to do this write up. Brady does look like he is dropping off big time. They must have removed that hard to trace HGH from his TB 12 load line.

Brady is getting old, there's no doubt about it....but some of his issues so far this season is the lack of targets....and a really bad oline.....Like you, I am not ready to put the silver bullet in Brady heart just yet....I do have the finger on the trigger however...? Oh I don’t care about total numbers, he is already a Top 3 all time QB. I just want to enjoy his creaking old bones getting pounded into the turf for 3 years after his arm strength and mobility are completely gone. You have to enjoy the little things. starrymessenger
You don't get kudos for predicting a changing of the guard at the QB position, especially in the AFCE. Brady is ancient, the Bills have Allen, the Jets have Darnold and the fish will be drafting a talented prospect in 2020. Oh, and lest I forget the Pat's current backup is a guy has given indications that he can develop nicely. Having a successful organization supporting him only improves his chances. I agree that Brady even in his offence looks very much and at best like an average to above average starter and a game manager. And I can certainly see why Tom desperately wants Brown. Edelman is very good but he alone won't be nearly enuf to get it done, especially if they continue to have a less than dominant ground game. To me the question is whether Tom still has it in him to raise his game to its former level consistently in the playoffs. I don't think he can but neither can you disregard the fact that no one has done more to prove doubters (like me) to be very wrong. Machiavellianism....without even trying. Something as simple as football (no longer) has chronologically consumed this mans life. It is no longer about winning. It has become survival. The coming years will be reflective, grandchildren will be a vital part.
Freddie's Dead
It's not over until we beat them at the Razor with Brady playing for real, and then bury them in the playoffs.
mjd1001
I'm happy with Allens progress, but he isn't 'there' for me yet. Brady? Its been pretty obvious that his play has dropped off quite a bit since the end of last season. The Pats almost carried him through the playoffs last year. This year, both the stats and the eye test show he isn't even close to what he once was. Anyone saying he is even a top 10 QB in this league anymore is in denial. Hes not the worst starter in the league, but he is no better than mid-pack. With a great D behind him though, the Pats are still very dangerous. The bye-week into the playoffs is critical for the Pats. If they somehow lost that bye, I think they would be gone rather quickly in the playoffs. However, its not just brady who is 'older'. Look at their defensive unit. Article after article done on the subject shows players on Defense peak at about the age of 26-28 years of age..and drop off pretty quickly after 30 (some exceptions exist of course). That Pats D is great, but a lot of them are on the wrong side of 28. The bye week will do wonders for them.

billsfan89
Until Brady loses I am never betting against him. I love me some Josh Allen and while he has progressed a lot he still has a lot of development left to go. I think if they can make some critical upgrades to the roster in 2020 the Bills will be primed to compete in the division and make noise in the playoffs.
