Stupid.

What is stupid? The Bills are NEVER going to win 4 straight games against a Houston or Indy,  Kansas City, New England, and then a Saints or Niners.  In fact they probably won't even be competitive with any of those teams.

They can beat Houston/Indy....

KC or NE....yeah we need a lot more offense than we're showing.

I mock Daboll a little bit because he’ll do some “too cute” stuff, way “too much”, but he’s been ok...

John Brown is killing it and we have speed guys taking the top off every game but Josh hasn’t been connecting.

Our feature back is a one dimensional A/B gap runner and we have nobody opposite Brown to operate in Josh’s sweet spot - the 10-20 yard passing game.

He needs more talent.  We have a very average offense in terms of talent, at every level, which leads to average numbers, further hindered by youth and a ton of new pieces still coming together.

If Allen ups his game, this offense has enough talent to jump with him, but as currently stands, our offense making a jump is dependent upon Allen as the talent isn’t there to help carry him, like it is for Mahomes, Watson, Rudolph, Goff, Baker etc..

They must be thinking a guy who nets 4 sacks a year isn't going to get them much in trade, so they may as well keep him the next 9 games.

They got a draft asset out of Zay Jones, they can get one for Shaq.

What is stupid is saying that any NFL team is not trying to win the Superbowl (with the exception of the Dolphins maybe). What is stupid is judging an entire season on one game. What is stupid is assuming that any team can't beat any other team at any time. What is stupid is assuming that a team with a young QB whose shown flashes, an effective run game, and a defense with the potential to be dominant cant make a run in the playoffs. It happens all the time. What's stupid is your negative attitude because you're driving yourself on emotions and not on logic. What's stupid is the overreaction all over this board to one game.

It is stupid. If you're not tanking, then you should do what you can to build the best team possible. Especially if there's an opportunity to trade for a good player who can still be on the roster next year and beyond.

They aren't trying to win the Super Bowl.  If they thought they were just a player away the would make a move.  They realize they are playing for the future, not a shot at this years Super Bowl.  The Bills are not an elite football team.  They have ZERO chance of winning 4 playoff games in a row.  ZERO.

The Bills are clearly not trying to win a Super Bowl this year.  They proved they are a paper tiger this past Sunday.  Watch the game again.  The Bills will NEVER beat a top tier team with this offense and defense. They probably could get AJ Green or Bell and still get knocked out in the 1st round.  Perhaps it is best to just stay put and wait for next year and keep building through the draft.

You can't beat good teams with  mediocre offensive and defensive lines.

This is super cute.

No kidding, but they aren't a team like the Patriots, Packers, 49ers, or Saints who can make a single move to make themselves an Super Bowl winner.  The Bills need a HECK of a lot more than 1 player to even compete with these teams.

Shaq is one of only two players on the DL playing well vs the run. Trading Shaq makes the Ds biggest weakness an even greater one. Unless they get something substantial, which is unlikely, Shaq doesn't get moved.

Yes. They are. If you believe that not trading a bunch of draft capital for a new shiny piece is not trying to win the Superbowl, then you have a serious misunderstanding of the NFL. How many mid-season trades have the Patriots made during the years they win the Superbowl?

There are some posters here who would call you an idiot for speaking in absolutes and coming across like a whiny schmuck... I wouldn't, cause I don't use such offensive language. But there are some...

At around the halfway point if this 2019 season, it’s pretty safe to say a reasonable snapshot of the team has emerged. The defense is at least top half of the league in today’s NFL. It could use an additional piece or two to bring it up to a higher level. The offense as currently constructed is sub par. The OL still has issues , particularly at OT and WR, TE. The RBs are passable, but the team has few matchup winners in the lineup. The struggles of the QB are well documented, but a personnel change there isn’t on the table at the moment. That isn’t an overreaction to one game, but rather a look at what the data tells us so far. A trade could help, and doesn’t mean mortgaging the future.

Oh, I agree. That and the fact that they are not trying to move him is why I think they will make him an offer this off season. I don’t think their goal is to let him walk.
