Why so confrontational? You’re always in attack mode when it comes to Allen.

You can’t say Allen makes mistakes. Don’t you know that? Makes you a “hater.”

The thing I've noticed this year is defense has made a comeback. There haven't really been a lot of shoot outs. Defenses have caught up to some of the spread concepts that were tearing up the league a couple years ago.

Thank God for that.

The Jets' defense is pretty legit, with CJ in. Dirty and ugly, but legit.

Can they make the playoffs, still?

I don’t get the fans rooting for the Jets in this one, or the Texans earlier. Texans and Jets winning makes it tougher on the Bills.

They may as well just make it a forum rule, they already have the hall monitors for it, free of charge.

It was a 62 yd kick, he tied his record that's the kind of ***** that amps people up.

Possibly, but it's only 3 pts.

I'm just not a believer in the 49ers but...

They look pretty good. Defense and run game are legit. But also it sure seems like the league has figured out the McVay offense a little bit. And it definitely proves the value of Gurley the past two years.

Right coming from the person who's way of commenting on Darnold having a good game is saying Allen isn't able to make those passes.?

The Cowboys needed that 3 points the way they were playing.  They need some sort of momentum.

Well, they can mathematically. However, it’s only been done a couple times after an 0-4 start. History says highly unlikely.

Eh I think (maybe prematurely) that the Bills are already clear of the Jets and I hate the Cowboys. But I see your point.

Most likely, but leave nothing to chance. Until the Bills clinch a spot my rooting interests are always on what helps the Bills.

And yeah, I hate the Cowboys too.

Its a fair question.

Let's see if I can put it into small, easy-to-comprehend words for you:

There is a cadre of about 5-10 people here who LOVE to kiss the ring of every other young QB BESIDES ours.

Why? Because they wanted one of the other guys in the draft, and just can't STAND being wrong.

THAT is what's tiresome.

Like checkdown Charlie.... I know you don't want to hear it Joe, but I'm sure the Mono had a play in that....

More excuses.

Darnold is having a game that we'd want to see Allen have against the worst team in the league next week, and he's doing it against the Cowboys.  How confident are you Allen will come through with that?

The Cowboys aren't exactly an upper echelon defense. Not even close...

I'd say there are more degrees than that there a people who are just more critical of Allen and there are people who just crap on him at any given opportunity the former tend to get caught in the crossfire of people reacting to the latter.

And Allen lit up a "Super Bowl" contender Vikings team last year I wouldn't put too much weight on 1 game that's pretty much picture perfect for a trap. Darnold has looked good that's true but how he plays has absolutely no effect on how I feel Allen plays.

Right, but Allen has a habit of keeping opponents in the game with a bunch of turnovers. I'm not confident he won't do that against the Dolphins. And if Fitz is starting next week, lol...

The Bills offense has a habit of keeping opponents in the game. It is not just Allen, there is plenty of blame to go around.

Yeah I doubt that Allen embarrassed a much more talented Dolphin D last year I don't see this tire fire putting the kind of pressure (game significance wise or actual) on Allen that NE did and I doubt things get as flukey bad as they did against the Jets.
