He’s the McBeane prototype at Pass rusher out of all the 1st round prospects. Freak athlete, long, high ceiling

There are so many different ways we could go in this draft and I wouldn't be disappointed.

i'm telling you guys  this defense this year is gonna be a new trend setter. these guys will show themselves to be ahead of the curve.(yes even with mcfrazier.)

think about it.....with the defensive fa's signed. we have white and wallace, t. johnson, bush and neal....not to mention a very decent player in lewis.

now we add k. johnson (former 1st rd. pick fwiw), sign e.j.gaines and tweener m. alexander.

to me this means they are going to run nickel and dime all the time(ie. being able to send someone from every direction on every play) which leads me to believe they want that one aaron donald like dt...ed oliver.....or....

they could go edge(s) and create a new jail break, nickel/dime defense. i think they're gonna come up with something that will make what jim schwartz did look as outdated as a wannestandt d. however it shakes out, i think they are brewing up a nasty d.

we're gonna need a ton of fresh oline guys because this d is gonna cause a lot of 3 and outs.

i am a visionary...hopefully my office at obd will be ready soon....

Who's playing 3tech on your projected roster?

We didn't draft Phillips last year for nothing.  Secondly, we are already devoting 10 mil a year to the DT position in Star.  We have Phillips and Phillips.  So I think they certainly can and will add a player but in the 1st I don't think they will.  I think they will either go edge or WR.  Even if we were to sign Ansah, I would still be looking for Edge, WR in the 1st.

We drafted H but he didn't show much. Nothing wrong if he ends up being a depth player considering he was taken in the 3rd. I think people really got caught up in the Kyle comparisons with that pick. J is a nice player but also not  a difference maker. If you believe Oliver is a stud and the BPA, you take him.

How does Montez Sweat compare to Bosa and Allen?

The biggest difference between Bosa and Sweat/Allen is the former has an array of moves and counters.  The latter two do not do well once their initial move has been nullified.  That's exactly why I could see both Allen and Sweat falling further than people think.  When you look at their tape a lot of their sacks are from straight speed rushes where they are not fighting through and showing counter moves.  A lot of it is clean rushes where they don't get touched.  But then when you look at how they respond to getting nullified that's where you begin to see, they are crazy athletic; they have great frames; but I don't see a lot of counter moves; violent hand work.  So, I wouldn't rule either out at 9 but I wouldn't expect them to be day 1 starting pass rushers either.  I think a year in the sub package and getting with a good DL coach will do both great.

I hear ya. But I'll say this...Harry don't have the quicks to replace Kyle. Nobody on the roster does. Edge might be a serious consideration at 9, but I highly doubt WR is. Not sure anybody in the draft is better than what we already have as far as immediate impact goes at WR. Just my 2 cents...

Uggggg. I gots a bad feeling about this.

Me too.  Oliver just ran a 4.71!  Oliver will be the Bills pick if we stay at 9.  Problem is he most likely will be long gone

Well, if we're going to pick a player who is already gone, might as well select Bosa.
