If things really do continue to happen along the same trajectory we are currently on, I could see either Mark Meadows or Jim Jordan as POTUS at some point in the future.

Ha, yeah, "missed opportunity"

At what point does the MSM stop doubling down on a lost cause?

when the doors are shuttered at HQ

they assume their little system will keep going for eternity and all kinds of fake news can be dreamed up in a jiffy and no consequences when it is exposed for the 1,000,000th straight time

Not if Jim Jordan doesn't learn to wear a jacket in public appearances.

Well, the wannabe autocrat is stonewalling the people's house.

Quote

Elijah E. Cummings, a Democrat, represents Maryland’s 7th Congressional District in the House, where he is the chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Reform.

In November, the American people voted overwhelmingly to put Democrats in charge of the House of Representatives to start serving as a truly independent check and balance on the executive branch. Since then, President Trump and his allies have complained of “Presidential Harassment,” decrying Democrats for having the audacity to request documents and witnesses to fulfill our constitutional responsibilities.

The problem is that the White House is engaged in an unprecedented level of stonewalling, delay and obstruction.

I serve as chairman of the Oversight and Reform Committee, the primary investigative body in the House of Representatives. I have sent 12 letters to the White House on a half-dozen topics — some routine and some relating to our core national security interests. In response, the White House has refused to hand over any documents or produce any witnesses for interviews.

Schiff: Director Mueller, you were given a mandate and spent tens of millions of taxpayer dollars to give us the information necessary to impeach the 45th President of the United States.  How do you explain this gross incompetence and or mishandling of taxpayer funds?

Suddenly, these investigations will get far less media coverage and hype.

Shocking. No one saw that coming

(but for many many many people on this board).

The real action will be in the Senate Judiciary - as I've said for awhile now.

would love to be a fly on the wall there.

Ya, not happening! Does she think Trump should resign for his real, actual lies? This group wants people to resign for lying, wow!

Quote

“Adam Schiff should resign,” Conway said during an appearance on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends.” “He has no right as someone who’s been pedaling a lie day after day after day, unchallenged, unchallenged and not under oath. Somebody should have put him under oath and said, ‘You have evidence? Where is it?’”

I just want the truth

We have 100s of pages of the report in the public sphere in the form of indictments.

The report will be released with redactions (you won't get grand jury information or investigative details - per DOJ SOP).

But if you want to read what this was all about, I recommend starting here:

There is no truth now.  Only electoral politics.

You want the truth? Democrats within the unelected, unaccountable deep state attempted to remove a duly elected president with a sham of a proposition, and were abetted in their cause by a corrupt and worthless "free press" that's been exposed as an utter fraud.

And now, the time has come for payback. I hope he's suitably ruthless.

Meaning that by the end of the week, Pelosi will ram through the House a resolution condemning in no uncertain terms everything but Schiff.

Not to mention a resolution blaming the 'pouncing' republicans for 'bullying' a man of high integrity like Full-of-Schiff.

i guess this could go here because this will directly affect the ability of the House to look into Trump's finances.

i hope this bites them in the ass.

I fully support this measure, so long as every single representative in the NY Assembly, NY Senate, US House of Representatives, US Senate, and the Governor himself (along with their respective husbands, wives, or significant others) must release all of their federal and state tax returns to the general public for each year in office, and 5 years before that (not just let selected reporters "look" at them without copying, like Cuomo currently does.)

You're forgetting to ask for the big payoff years--those years immediately after they leave office.
