There was already talk that the show was cutting some of his scenes out. And wasnt there a belief that he was doing this as publicity because his character was being written out of the show? Roseanne was fired because she, yet again, made another racist comment. It wasnt her first one, and it wasnt her last because she continues to do it. I'm sure the same ones complaining that he wasnt fired or charged immediately after reporting the alleged assault are the same ones screaming that the people being accused of sexual assault (from the #metoo movement) are immediately being considered guilty instead of "innocent until proven guilty". In this case, that is exactly what happened.
