I agree White interception celebration was classless!

I can see it if they scored on a pick-6 and all the players were already there... but having everybody run 60+ yards to the endzone just to pose is lame.

Maybe back then it did. Its being up for a game when it means nothing in terms of playoffs. Steelers Ravens is a rivalry as they both usually are playing to win the division.

If you didn't live through it you'll never really understand why some of us hate the Mammals so much.

I came on in the 90's just in time to see Bryan Cox.  When Brady leaves, I fully expect this to become a real rivalry again.  We've had some kind of in-game fighting each of the past few seasons, starting with Landry.  It's brewing...

Josh played pretty damn good today for a player that IS our offense.......we had what....less then 50 yards rushing today that did not come from a QB today?

EVERY QB MAKES BAD THROWS IN A GAME......every one

PS....Darnold looked like crap today.......just like every rookie QB does when they play the patriots

Seriously though John, we need to do better. 3 throwing TD’s and 2 rushing TD’s from our QB will not cut it when he’s throwing a pick as well. He needs to be better. He was just meh today.

Ha, ha...yeh i'm glad that Virg thought he was only "pretty good" today.  Quite a standard if a QB rating of 114.9 is considered "pretty good".

There was a linebacker inside and if the pass is in front of Jones Miami's #28 has him lined up for a de-cleater. I cannot say with certainty that Josh did not throw it where he did to give Zay a chance to avoid what would be certain destruction from a defenseless position. The linebacker should have dropped back a bit and taken away that throwing lane, but was a non-factor and took him self out of the play seeming more concerned with keeping Allen in the pocket.

After that Zay did a good job of reversing the field and getting the ball over the goal line.

I agree and will go one step further and say that on the first TD pass to Jones Allen made an outstanding throw.  If Allen had made the so called "good" throw Jones would have taken a savage hit for at best a 4 yard gain.  A hit that might have popped the ball into the air for an INT.  The throw to the outside in which Jones made a nice adjustment to catch the pass was the reason he scored a TD on that play.  When you watch the reply there were 3 Dolphins converging on the inside route.  I believe that Allen placed that ball where ONLY Jones could catch it and there was a zero risk a Miami guy could bat it down or INT it.

Virgil, Thanks for all the weekly rights ups. For most part you get it right. No one is perfect not even me :).  It appears some people took this weeks comments personal (FYI, there is an ignore button). Can't wait for this offseason.

The commentators said they need to coach JA hard in the off season. I think he can take it. Let's hope he stays the whole off season in Buffalo.

Happy New Years!

Alright, the masses win.  Allen was amazing.  His throws made angels cry.  Ditka retired rather than having to coach against him 30 years later.  They are going to rename the quarterback position "The Allen".  His incomplete passes were to make the opposing team feel appreciated.

And one day she said to me
"Virgil, quick! Come see
There goes Joshua Allen"

It was Ike Boettinger #65 who buried Alonso. Mills never should have been tossed but the refs had to divy it up

I have to believe that Mills might have retaliated after the guy pulled his facemask - we just didn't see it (BTW I think that was the lowest amount of replays I've ever seen in an NFL production).   It was definitely Boettinger who deserves the praise for being the first to jump in the fray and bury dirty Kiko.  Honestly - if the Dolphin hadn't grabbed Allen's helmet and facemask and inadvertently moved it out of the way of the dullard missile I think Josh would be in the hospital tonight.

It was amazing to watch Allen run in the open field these last games.  It is crazy to see a QB so big run like he does - like a runaway horse.

We are not demanding, we will also accept "nearly perfect", "99 % awesome", and angels weep.

i guess but should have just been Kiko.

Im all about the Toughness but i think Mills should be replaced.

Mills is probably their second best lineman right now. ?

im all for replacing him but finding 4 new starters better than him in one season isn’t going to be likely.

I did that at work last week after I fixed the coffee machine. I had everyone run into the parking lot and do a celebration.

I'm just busting B@ll$ Virgil.  Not to speak for the masses, but for me, Allen was beyond "pretty good".  Can he be better, absolutely.   Does he have accuracy concerns, yes as he threw behind receivers on several slants.  But he is a rookie, with a less than average o-line, lack of a strong possession TE  and a receiver corps that lacks a true #1 that is a baller and something that the Bills have not had in a very long time.

Good write-up and Happy New Year.  GO BILLS!

Oh, I’m good.  I’m enjoying it.  I can’t seem to leave the forum because it means the season is truly over.  It’s a problem.

The way Allen played today is the way the Bills should build their offense. He is not a prolific passer and never will be Let him play like Jackson does for Baltimore. He may only be a couple year wonder but atleast he will be exciting.

Agreed. Let Josh be Josh! If he gets better at reading defenses, he'll become more of a pocket passer over time. If not, we'll have fun watching Josh the Playmaker.

By the way, the same thing was true with respect to Tyrod. When he was running, the offense worked. When he was hurting or afraid to run, it sucked.

Don’t bring up TT. Problem won’t appreciate you using the logic that defended him to apply towards Allen.

Jonah Williams would be an immediate upgrade over both our tackles and is who i hope we draft.

How can you be negative on Allen?  The int though his fault is bad coaching and playcalling.  There was over a minute and Miami had timeouts.  The first down play was garbage setting up the need to get a first down.  The whole second quarter was classic MvD/Daboll play with the lead.

Allen is dynamic and fun to watch.  Things to work on but has me excited for the first time in ages.

Obviously you're biased when you have to make a point of Foster's TD, when it had little to do with him and was a great pass by Josh.

Btw Darnold folded vs. NE and Mayfield not fairing well vs. Baltimore

+1

I am excited with the possibilities of Josh Allen as our QB for a long time. Go Bills....and Happy New Year 2019 to everyone on this board.

Tell ya what I liked about Allen's game today: it was his first game facing a team for the 2nd time, and he lead the offense to 42 points. You always want to know how a QB will perform once coordinators have tape on him, so while it's a minuscule sample space, it's an encouraging sign

its a shame we didn't win those close games we should have, could have made the playoffs.
