How does race play a role in any government being a complete and total catastrophe?  If you think it does, you are the racist.  It doesn't.

There is only one letter in Trump's tweet that indicates bias.  Hint: it's the letter e.  That bias could be considered ideological, nationalistic or xenophobic but hardly racist if you're being truthful.  The problem is those other words don't trigger enough people so the inaccurate word racist is a must.

You accused me of deflection earlier but commies like you use it regularly.  When they are criticized, let's talk about a progressive's race, gender, religion, sexual orientation or any other singular point of emphasis and use it to deflect.  Deflect away from the fact that their ideology fails.  Deflect toward the fact that every person has flaws but that those who disagree with the ideology must have their flaws pointed out and used to advance the failed ideology.

Trump was certainly inarticulate and inaccurate in his tweet.  He was also correct about ideologies that always fail.  But by all means I suppose we should focus on how polite someone is when deciding the ideology that will define our future.  Then we should let commies define what is polite.  That'll work.

Careful you don't break your back bending it backwards to overlook Trump's behavior.

I rarely talk race. The left plays the card far too often and it's divisive and stupid. America gives a better opportunity than most places for people of all races. And AOC is a poster child for divisive race talk. The absolute worst.

That said, call Trump out when he says something racist. "Inarticulate" and "inaccurate" are cute word choices. Let's go with racist instead.

He's done a lot of good things thus far in his presidency. But it doesn't mean he can't also say racist things and be called for it when he does.

I’ve spent a bit of time by the pool these last few weeks. I’m browner than I was in May. Does that count?

Trump is a big meanie and a poopie-head.

And now the whole country is talking about the face of the Democratic socialist party, and good ole Nancy had to support those lovely ladies. 🙂

But now we don’t again. Phew. I wish the Dems would follow Trump’s advice and export the AOC arm including Bernie and Warren back to their home country of Socialist-stan.

It really should have been an easy question to answer.  What race?  You haven't answered because he didn't criticize a race.  He criticized an ideology.  He did so in the wrong way but that doesn't make the ideology magically viable.

The Democratic voters are doing that now! Political parties are big tents. For every AOC the Dems have, the GOP has a Louie Gomert spewing incredibly stupid dribble.

No he told 4 Americans to go back to their home country. Weaving and dodging.

It’s OK to like a guy who makes racist statements buddy. Just don’t defend it as inaccurate and inarticulate. Uncle Donald let loose one of his racist remarks. It happens.

Battling against socialist ideology is different than calling out the racist statements by an old white guy. One is a much bigger deal.

The Dems are engrossed in socialist rhetoric right now and it’s a big problem for America. I could probably vote for 2 Dem candidates right now, at most, and they should want my vote. Guys like you will vote for any of them.

The Democrats are anything but united.  One would argue that they keep getting weaker and weaker as some will no doubt stay home on Election Day 2020 because their candidate got kicked to the curb.  The future of the Democratic Party is in doubt and that is no joke.

Biden is leading by a wide margin, right now. Dems will vote for who they think can win. It's a political primary so it will of course bring out all sorts of ideas. But really, the socialists are not winning even in the Democratic primary. How do you get "engrossed" out of that, I'm not sure.

Four?  What part of his tweet said four?  Or is that something you define?

Biden is clearly a racist but B Mind won't call that out.

I'm sure if you pay enough attention you can up with at least seven to eleven reasons.

You can kid yourself but don't kid the rest of us.  Most SJW Dems just see this as another day at the office for Trump so what little emotion was run up will fade by this afternoon.  Dems will get mad and stay home if they were backing Harris, Biden, Sanders as only one candidate can prevail.  What I hear is some are willing to write off 2020 to set the party on the course that they desire.

Not sure what context is lost at all. I do believe Trump is flesh and blood like the rest of us, and he makes mistakes and has deep character flaws. It’s okay to say that and still believe in his policies

Confused on this post.

I've been reading through the various replies and this is among the most salient points I've read.

I was a reluctant Trump supporter,  found his approach by Tweet unsettling when he was first elected (I was horrified when he tweeted that Obama wiretapped him, thinking a president should not say that sort of this without proof), but history has shown that on many of those "WTF!" moments he was on point and often ahead of the curve.

On this most recent firestorm, it is what it is. He chose to send a tweet that was sloppy in regards to who is from where and which country, and I can understand his detractors seeing evidence of hatred or racism in his remarks.

I do the same thing, actually, and see remarks like Nancy Pelosi's "MAGA really means make America white again"  as incredibly divisive race-1baiting language that reflects poorly on her and her motives.  I think that language is dangerous, destructive and intended to rile her base, which includes the same type of hateful thugs that will lie/cheat/steal/destroy and kill to further their cause as you see on the right. The thing about Pelosi v Trump is while Trump seems impetuous and less than artful (by design or not), I think Pelosi, Biden, Harris, Clinton, Schumer etc think through what they are going to say, focus group it for maximum effect and send out exactly what they mean.

In fact, the common theme from our political leaders is to demonize the other party at all costs.

So given the flesh and blood of us all, you wanted feedback.  I'm happy to give mine, but what are your thoughts on the other side? Do you have the same questions on the Pelosi for Prez board at another site?  Or the "Biden for Prez All hands on deck" site? Or, have you accepted the narrative that trump is the first flesh and blood individual who hates everyone and everything ever created in the history of the world?

I'm looking at the totality of 45s Presidency thus far and see little in the way of institutionalized racist policies and in fact, see quite a bit of positive data for all who want to contribute and work for their own slice of the American dream.

Unlike some of the others posters here who's views I respect (you're in that group), I wouldn't say whether Pelosi is a racist or not. How would I know what's in her heart, who she pals around with and how she treats everyday Americans.  Some dems seem to think she is, and given their experiences maybe she fits the mold. I do think that while a person guilty of violence against someone for who they are is vile, I am quite certain I have no respect for the second spitter off in the shadows goading them on with rhetoric like "That guy hates you people.". While guy #1 is often ruled by emotion/rage/hate, person  #2 is calculating and reflects a darkness that's hard for me to understand.

at some point ya call a cigar a cigar...he has tweeted racist things for three years..this one possibly the most blatant " brown people are not part of my America"..go back from where you came"!

You always claim people with TDS cant see the forest for the trees, and it sure seems that goes both ways. If you cannot see this as a racist, baiting tweet, and call him out for it, i am lost.

This is just pure red meat to his base, and if posting racist tweets is okay as a political strategy i think we have truly entered the 4th circle..and this guy is driving us there

I’m tripping on the irony of the fact that your inaccurate paraphrase has 100% more race mentions then the original text....
