Brady has defied the odds, I'll give you that....Hell, he was MVP just this past year and threw for 500 yards in the SB.....I'm one of those who call him the GOAT...... in my mind, that debate was over after the Seattle SB.....everything he's done since just cements his legacy.....but he is absolutely missing throws this year that were completions in the past.....At 41, it is more likely than not the beginning of the end.....is he still a great QB ?...yeah, sure....but he's on the decline IMO....he's coming from the top of the mountain, so the decline might take a while, but it's finally happening IMO.... You cant give coaches and GMs 4+ years to see if they have what it takes, it's not how the business works and it sets your franchise back way too far. You have to see improvement and so far these guys keep trying to take steps backwards instead of forwards. The offense last year was bad, this year it is even worse and it worse because they neglected it again to continue pooling resources to the defence in a time where the league is shifting to teams needing high powered offences. Teams are winning because they can out score the other, not because their defence can hold them. This team has not shown they have an offence that can score even o the worst defences in the league. I agree, complain about talent... a very legitimate argument...but the historical bad offense goes beyond just talent alone. I'd be so embarrassed. We should be proud we only lost by 19 and never had a chance. This team ***** sucks, and it just being a rebuild isn't an excuse. They only know one side of the ball, the defense came out great. How long before starters pull a Gilmore? You think these guys will want to play here year in and year out when the offense does nothing? That ***** was awful. Running the ball at the end of the first half and things like that just show you have no confidence in your team and just want to hang around. People can keep bringing up picks and cap space this offseason, but what FA is going to want to come here on offence? This offence is completely inept and the front office/coaching staff hasnt shown they know what to do to make it capable, let alone good. And because of these guys wasting another season, there are defenders who may decide they dont want to stick around any longer either.
