So to be clear, these guys gutted the receiver room and replaced them with the worst receivers in the league. Now they are mad that these guys suck? Whose fault is that?

I’ve murdered them on how awful they have been on offensive talent on this team.  But that BS Ray Ray pilled is completely unacceptable and Coach was right to rip.  No player should be practicing like that, much less a 6th rounder who wasn’t even the best slot receiver on his college team.

Lack of talent is a huge problem at receiver.  But that effort is trash and 100% on the player.  Ray Ray won’t be in the league long with that BS.

Somebody get Dez Bryant’s agent on the phone

And ask him to block Beanes number.

kidding

i couldn’t really hear what McDermott was saying but I am sure he is upset at the Wideouts. The way they played in the game this year is atrocious. They should be the hardest working bunch in practice. That body language was pretty lacks. Good for coach trying to fire them up. They are all NFL players, be one.

Good for Sean. I admit to questioning him hard after all the off season decisions, naming Peterman starter and subsequent benching, Leslie Frazier, Vontae Davis, etc. He seems to have righted the ship somewhat.

We have arguably the worst QB and WR combo in the NFL. Some of that can be chalked up to youth, but you're not going to get better by dogging it in practice like Allen and Ray Ray did in that clip.

Has this made its rounds yet? It’s hilarious to me when people try and claim our wr situation “isn’t that bad”... it IS! IT SO FRIGGIN IS!

Nothing like helping out your rookie QB.

It doesn’t matter if they are inspired or not. They are so limited that they won’t ever make an impact. Rudy was always inspired; he just wasn’t good at football.

The people most most responsible for the quality of the receivers are McDermott & Beane.

Kirby, I absolutely agree but here's my "other side of the coin."

Ray Ray and Foster, in particular, are practice squad material (maybe).  They are on the 53 drawing a full paycheck.  Ray Ray needs to understand this isn't Clemson.  Dabo's not going to be there to burp him and change his poopy diaper.  Leave that crap in college and take every rep in game prep practices like a pro.  Don't give me a Saturday walk-through goofy catch in a Wednesday practice.  McD was right to jump on this.

Ray Ray wasn’t even that good in college.  I hated that pick.  You can find a guy like that anywhere. And now he’s acting like he’s ODB?  I’m glad Ron Howard ripped him.

People need to stop posting this. Dez's agent has already said he is only interested in a superbowl contender. The Bills and their now 30th in the power ranking is not this....

I am as pumped and feeling hopeful as the next guy after this last win, but one win after two blow outs with a rookie QB is not going to suddenly make a guy like Dez go "all they need is me for Super Bowl"

Welllll how long ago did his agent say that? I’m sure by now he’d just like a paycheck....

Kirby - I respect you as a poster. Always good stuff. But disagree with your view on this. If the coach and GM want to change the “culture” (or as they say “football player DNA”) and build through the draft, they had to make a decision: either keep Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods (and pay them contracts we couldn’t afford) or cut bait with Dareus, Glenn, Tyrod and fill in the gaps with guys like Tre White, Milano, Edmunds, Hyde and Poyer. The offense be damned...the defense carried the season last year so I suppose WR’s and OLine are on the list this coming year.

Anyway, I see your point but think there’s more to it than simply blaming them for bad WR’s....what else was out there besides these guys? Go Bills!

Exactly this, Watkins was gone after last season anyway. Woods was already not going to sign with us again, and why would he want to? No WR unless they are trying to prove they belong in the league, or are getting WAY over paid would choose to go to a team who only throws to actual WR's a couple of times a game.

I don’t disagree that he should have jumped him. I guess the point is I would agree more if he was jumping Robert Woods or Sammy Watkins. It’s his fault that there are guys the quality of Ray Ray McCloud on the active roster to yell at.

His agent said that before the season... and as far as I know they havent made a statement otherwise, nor have they made any statements expressing a great desire to play. You are making a random assumption what you THINK you MIGHT do if you were in his shoes. But you are not Dez, and the only info we DO KNOW is that he has said he will only sign with a Superbowl contender

There were lots of things that they could have done instead of trading for Mathews, Kaelin Clay & Benjamin. They took guys in the 6th and 7th and some undrafted FAs. They signed journeymen receivers in Streater, Holmes & Kerley and traded up in round 2 for Zay Jones. Literally every WR decision that they have made has been wrong. The people most responsible for this are McDermott and Beane.

I’m not excusing McCloud but I’m not praising McDermott for it either. This mess is on him.

There is a process (which we aren’t privy to) and once the defense, QB and Oline/TE’s (Croom) are shored up, it will be refreshing to see a stud WR and RB drafted next year. In the interim, we can relax and enjoy the games. Casting blame on coach and GM for a 3-4 year process seems pre-mature after three games. Let’s see what these younger guys can do.
