John from Riverside
When I look at the film one thing glaringly stands out to me..... He was not getting anywhere close to what you would call a "accurate pass" the majority of the time He looks like he has to slow down EVERY TIME in order to make a play on a ball due to bad QB play......the most consistant QB he played with he had his best numbers with (and they were decent numbers with that qb) Colemen has a place on this team.....he can run coverage deep.....which allows guys like KB and Kerley to catch passes UNDER the coverage...... Like it....like it

Foreigner
Two paragraphs from a story by AP Sports Writer Tom Withers. But beyond Coleman's problems on the field, he had issues outside the lines that hurt his standing with Coach Hue Jackson and new General Manager John Dorsey. Coleman was named in a police report regarding an alleged felonious assault last year. He was also sent home from the Browns trip to Houston for missing curfew while he was injured. We are changing the culture. With Zay Jones and Coleman on the field as WRs (insert your own joke here)

RyanC883
We can handle a few guys like this. Zay had his bizzare issue during the off-season. And missing curfew while injured (i.e. not playing) is not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. Not a "perfect" character background, but for a 2020 7th rounder, yeah, I'll take the risk at BoysTown Buffalo!

Let’s be real, it’s impossible to field 53 guys who are truly high character.

Mopreme
Jones was basically high on something. He made a mistake. The guy is actually very well spoken. I think he will turn it around.
BarleyNY
Did some digging after I saw a poster mention that CC wasn’t running routes well in practice. (Sorry, can’t find the post.). Word is that he is not only terrible at his routes he’s also not understanding the other aspects of the WR position. He couldn’t be counted on to be where he was supposed to be on the field and it wasn’t getting better so they dumped him. Still, for the Bills it’s so low risk that even in light of this information I have no problem with the trade. Edited to add: There was no mention of any off the field problems with him. Commish
Chris Brown on WGR says the issue with Coleman isn't his physical skills, it is [and hasa been] his ability to learn a playbook and read defenses - and he's starting late as it is.
