True, but one was a VP candidate while the other is just some 27 year old who won a Democratic congressional primary.  The Republican party paraded an attractive, young female first term governor of a small state who wasn't ready to be a Vice Presidential candidate and her lack of knowledge of foreign and domestic policy was rightfully exposed.  The Democratic Party paraded a 27 year old attractive female primary winner for Congress and now she's being rightfully exposed.

Palin took over at a time when oil and gas prices spiked way higher.  She was able to parlay that into a tax rebate.  The rest is a very bad story.  She massively INCREASED spending.  She actually left way more debt than she started...  She is not a fiscal conservative.  She is a typical post 1998 "Republican" who is too stupid to understand fiscal conservatism.
