Is that the new standard for qbs or just rookies? Leave the pocket and make a throw, stay in the pocket if its a one read option. They normally just call basic coverages and defenses. The offense doesn't call very sophisticated plays. Have the qb make basic throws and see what they have. Didn't look out of place specially his 2 min drive at end of half when 4-4 24 yards and a TD against Den 2s. I'd go to the first preseason home game when I had seasons, then realize this wasn't much but it was fun for the first half.
