I suppose he could walk away but that's not a good look. I know guys like Schwartz are allowed to walk (when Rex was hired) but that was a defensive guy taking over. If it's McDermott he may want continuity on that side of the ball. The Offense was pretty good. I'd like to see this offense with a healthy Sammy and an improved defense in 2017, and I see playoffs.
