Missed assignments and tackles left and right. I get that they tried to address it in the offseason, but no chance AW makes it through a season without a scare like this (or worse) each year. I'm not advocating AW's retirement so much as agreeing that Landry's hit was a dirty cheap shot, chickenschit play. Whatever AW decides moving forward is OK with me. I'm not inside his head, don't know what he's dealing with injury wise, etc. I just know it's the third neck injury sustained in three years which is concerning. Aaaaand here's why you don't count on the NFL to fix this. You fix it yourself, on the field. Hockey justice. I wonder how much Nick Deslauriers would want to attend the rematch and jump over the wall to kick Landry's ass. But the fact he wasn't really hurt, didn't have a concussion, and is back at the team facility suggests the surgery did what it was supposed to do.
