Fitz hurt, Geno in, Jest suddenly WAY beatable

Recommended Posts

After Fitz went out with a hand injury, Geno was Geno, and the Jest lose to Raiduhs at the Black Hole. All of a sudden, the Jest look very beatable (save it, Fitz haterz, the Jest are a better team with Fitz). Looking forward to playing the Jest with QB Geno at Jimmy Hoffa Memorial Stadium on TNF. Beelz by 10 at least if Geno starts, with Fitz it's a pick 'em.

The Raiders are good. Jets were beatable before Fitz injury too. But any team can beat the Bills. Just how it is.

Raiders look pretty solid. Jets not bad , but weakened now. However it is a road night game for the Bills. That means at best we now split w Jets. The Bills just haven't been playing well enough or consistently enough to win a road night game. Not counting last years neutral site night game vs Jets, I cannot recall the last time the Bills won in prime time on the road. Could it possibly be @ Jags with Rob Johnson? My god that would be pathetic if it were. Think that was in '01.

Bills are 0-1 all time on SNF and 1-3 on TNF

What? The Bills have only ever played once on Sunday night? Or are you just talking about since NBC started broadcasting it?

That's since NBC took over in '06. Late 80's , 90's Bills had quite of few Sun nite appearances on ESPN, TNT. Many of them wins.

We lost to the Jags...what do you think Jets fans have penciled in for 2 games vs. us?

the Jets are good enough that they can pencil in Ws? Is any NFL team other than the Pats good enough to do that? Check out Gang Green - they aren't even penciling in the Jags game at this point. Edited by YoloinOhio

Geno Smith came in to replace Fitzpatrick, but left briefly in the fourth quarter with left shoulder and abdomen issues, Bowles added. Despite being ruled out, Fitzpatrick returned for two plays before Smith finished the game -- the Jets had no other quarterbacks on the active roster. Smith told reporters that he is "pretty confident" that he'll be ready to play next week, but will still undergo further evaluation.

Geno is better than fitz

At what? It sure isn't football.

A Gino led Jets team is sure a lot more beatable than a Fitzy led Jets team. That matters a great deal to a team that probably has to beat them twice to make the playoffs.

Both Fitz, and Geno have injuries! The jests were on the wire looking for QB's

"After Ryan Fitzpatrick went down with a thumb injury against the Raiders on Sunday, theJets were so desperate to add another quarterback that they actually started contacting free agents during the game."

It could be Bryce Petty time in NYC.

Will Jets hunt for new QB with Fitzpatrick, Smith banged up?

The Jets lost quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to torn ligaments in his non-throwing hand in Sunday's 34-20 loss against the Raiders, but needed him to come back out for a few plays after Fitzpatrick's backup, Geno Smith, also got hurt after sustaining blows to his shoulder and abdomen.

The major takeaway from head coach Todd Bowles?

"We've got to learn how to slide," he said, via The New York Post.

Though Smith eventually came back into the game, both quarterbacks will hit the MRI room on Monday and third-stringer, rookie Bryce Petty, is essentially on a redshirt year. This makes the Jets one of the more interesting teams as the trade deadline approaches.

Good thing fans' opinions don't count toward anyone's final record.

Can't look past this week. Just beat Miami first then think about the Jets. If we beat Miami then the Jets game will be huge.

That is why you dont call the season by Halloween....the season is a marathon not a sprint

yes it is, a sprint to finish a 16 game regular season. Sometimes a coach can care less and even gift that 16th game. Giving the franchise a " winning" season. This has played out the entire 21st. Century. rex will eff this up. In fact he's off to a great start in the marathon.

Which game will the players sprint to the busses is the question?
