Here's the entire interview:

10-6: DOUG WHALEY ON WGR (22:23)

  Quote

Buffalo Bills' GM Doug Whaley coming up NEXT on WGR

Whaley: "When you have a young quarterback throwing over 40 times per game, that's not good for your chances of beating anybody"

Whaley: "We have to make a concerted effort to get the running game going again"

Whaley on Marcus Mariota: "Poised, athletic QB with accuracy that took care of the ball. Those are good qualities in a quarterback"

Doug Whaley announces that Karlos Williams suffered a concussion against the Giants

Whaley said indications right now are that Watkins injury is not that severe and wont be long term but he said you never know w/soft tissue

@hsimon62

so #Bills have gone from having too many RB's to not having enough.

if #Bills sign a RB they'll have to make a roster move and would need 2nd move if they activate Enemkpali.

is this the end of the KO specialist? is it possible they cut carpenter and gay and just find 1 guy to do both?

i thought the plan was to put IK back on the PS because the only reason they moved him the the active roster while he was suspended was because he didn't count and might as well protect him.

Meril Hoge says to be careful. Karlos has a style that doesn't blend well with concussions (unless he's giving them to defenders).

That may have changed with Mario and Hughes both getting over 90% of the defensive snaps.

Of all the possible explanations over these past 15 years plus...I feel this is the most accurate...and likely... ;)

His status is "uncertain" for Sunday. But isn't it guaranteed a concussion will keep him out at least a week, if not more?

depends on whether he is cleared with the protocol. Edited by YoloinOhio

We were relatively fortunate last year when it came to the injury bug. This year...not so fortunate.

Fred's injured too.

Shhhh.....the Freddie Fanatics need something to hold on to...

Seriously though, this is why Freddie wasn't a reliable 3rd back. He's already hurt in Seattle and they had to go with Rawls for nearly every carry last night. I love Freddie. I still wear his jersey on game days, but he's at that age where he can't be depended on.

Right now, Bryce Brown is a better option.

and that is why you dont get rid of the one player that had been here for years and always ended up playing more and better than the so-called chosen ones.

Whaley went Rogue!

Yeah....shame that Freddie suffered an injury to.....right?

Watch Seattle sign Brown now that Freddy got hurt.

they are probably wishing they didn't get rid of Robert Turbin and Christine Michael.
