The GOP Nomination--The Donald and So Much More!

Recommended Posts

I'm not convinced any president is going to "fix" things, not with the way our Congress has been (partisan bickering, and generally representing special interests instead of the people in their districts/states).

You mean like the Dems "fixed" "healthcare " and the economy when they controlled Congress and the White House?

Depending on the metrics you use, the Dems have "fixed" both, and "destroyed" both. That's kinda how politics work here.

Forget about how politics works here for a minute, and ask yourself what about healthcare or our economy has actually been improved since 2008.

What? Recovery from recession and millions of people now getting insured health care.

How do you see it?

I'm not at all surprised that you consider it a recovery when more people than ever are on government assistance, nor am I surprised that you still believe the ACA was a good idea.

Sadly.

Right now, to no one's surprise, I'm leaning Sanders out of all of our choices... but it'd be really nice to have some more choices that aren't... well... the above

Is it hip to be a socialist now? Because I remember a time when referring to the president as a socialist made me racist.

More to the point, over all the people who plan to run for president of the United States, you prefer the socialist? Beyond whining about the 1% and offering 'free' college education to everyone, what, exactly, does Sanders bring to the table that has you leaning toward socialism?
Frankly I just want to see him in a debate, and when he refuses to answer a simple question, have the moderator say "What's the matter, Colonel Sanders? Chicken?"

Oooh, oooh, oooh, I know! "We did something" and "we didn't going into a depression, did we?"

What do I win?

A good one could get a lot done and it starts with repairing the relationship with Congress. It's been so long, we've forgotten what good leadership in the White house looks like.

Shyt, if those of us that actually pay health insurance premiums paid even more we could afford to cover even more people for free!!!!!

West Long Branch, NJ – The latest Monmouth University Poll of Republican voters nationwide found significant bumps, both in the vote choice question and candidate favorability, for Jeb Bush and Donald Trump since they threw their hats into the rings. Bobby Jindal has made no headway since he entered the race, and Chris Christie may actually be losing ground since his announcement. Despite Trump’s surge, the poll also found that many GOP voters are not taking his candidacy seriously. When Republicans are asked who they would support for the GOP nomination for president, Jeb Bush nominally leads the pack with 15%, followed by Donald Trump at 13%, and Ted Cruz at 9%.

LOL, fantastic work Alinsky, err Magox.

I'll bite though: You don't believe that at some point in our history the first human male and human female existed?

Mags, I appreciate your flair for character development. This is the first time you've ever assimilated a logical, structural breakdown into your gatorman posts.

Cudos. I'm curious to see where this leads.

With each passing day I'm convinced that Trump is running as Hillary's agent.

"Failing candidate Hillary Clinton, who is desperately trying to hold on to her lead in the democratic primary against Bernie Sanders, is knowingly putting out lies about my stance on illegal immigration. I said “Mexico is sending”--- I’m not knocking immigration or immigrants, but rather am very critical of the country of Mexico for sending us people that they don’t want. Likewise I am very critical of illegal immigration and the tremendous problems including crime, which it ...causes.

She is desperate, she is sad, and she is obviously very nervous when she has to revert to issues that have already been settled given the absolute accuracy of my statement. She speaks about “my tone” and that’s the problem with our country’s leaders. They are more worried about tone than results! It’s not about being nice--- it’s about being competent.

Hillary should spend more time producing her illegally hidden emails and less time trying to obfuscate a statement by me that is totally clear and obviously very much accepted by the public as true. I am honored, however, that she is attacking me, instead of Jeb Bush. Obviously she knows that JEB is no longer her real competition. The last person she wants to face is Donald Trump."

Yep he Is definitely her agent.

I like what he's saying but I'd rather it come from someone else other than this kook.
