But, doomed

@theMMQB: .@Andy_Benoit ranks the NFLs projected starting quarterbacks: http://t.co/pxYgIz494T

The bottom 5 could probably be in any order but still. I would take any of our 3 over McCown or Geno

we shall see. I'm from missouri on all this. show me. all this, "oooh , our power ranking went up 3 places!" is all a bunch of garbage. go bills. go win 11 games ; actually do it on the d--- field.

Precisely. I tried to explain this to #34Billsfan in another thread and he wasn't getting it. When you run a book you follow the money. If the Bills are 7/1 it probably means that Caesar's have taken a handful of very big bets on them at bigger odds. They don't really want any more people backing them because their liability on their book is already too big on the Bills so they price them in such a way that people will go elsewhere.

Ha, I think Mr. Weo is joking, but you are serious. In case you are serious, casinos in Vegas have different hold percentages on futures bets, with Caesars having one of the highest across all sports (high hold = bad for bettor). Take a look here:

So that is why I said don't bet futures at Caesars at all, not don't bet on the Bills at Caesars.

I'm not shocked by this. The Bills will play potentially dominating defense, have as many weapons as anyone and great ST. In addition, the AFC isn't very good. Would you trade rosters with Pittsburgh, Cincy, Houston, KC, Miami, Baltimore or SD? I think that is probably the next tie

Not so sure I agree with the AFC not being very good, for a few reasons: 1.) AFC East will end up the most competitive division in 2015, 2.) AFC has about 6 very solid teams - Indy, Buffalo, Pitt, Denver, NE and I would also include Miami, I think Baltimore takes a step back, 3.) The NFC has 2, may 4-5 very solid teams - GB, SEA are tops, then PHL, DAL, maybe STL breaks through this year.

If we want to argue about SEA and GB, thats OK. They have great QB's and great offense's. I feel SEA D took a step back and began to get exposed at the end of last season into the playoffs and definitely in the SB.

I believe so. they were up to 30 to 1 last I remember when the odds were being discussed.

Two weeks ago I put $20 on the Bills to win the SB. I got 30/1 odds. This was at the Wynn. It also was to win the SB not just the AFC. The guy at the window told me that in a matter of a month Buffalo had gone down from 60/1.

I think Denver is overrated and may be weaker than last year. I'd replace them with Baltimore.

Agreed SF. You can't underscore what a solid coach in John Harbaugh. Ozzy is one of the best GM's in the business, and Flacco is underrated. I am getting quite excited about the Bills though and Vegas is usually not wrong. At the least, we'll make the playoffs. I know it's low expectations, but I'd like to see us win at least one playoff game, and preferably the Patriots. I want to see Dareus pummel Brady three times in the game, and Mario and Hughes rush or hurry him several times.

He's made more plays & shown flashes. Geno makes some plays & some mistakes. I have no issues with the list.

I agree plus Smith plays while EJ is on the bench....Hard to be rated higher when you don't play.

According to Vegas Insider, a website that tracks numerous Las Vegas casinos, the Bills are currently 17/1 for the AFC. Pats* are 9/2, and the fish are 18/1. http://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/futures/

They currently have us as 2.5 point underdogs (according to consensus) in the opener, btw, anywhere from +1.5 to +3. http://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/las-vegas/

I think the AFC east is trending toward one of the most competitive divisions.

No doubt!

Thats not bad really. considering Bills are a bit of an unknown quantity. new coaches new player makers on Offense.

I would not bet against us that for sure. even with that spread of 3 points
