I don't know if it's ironic that it happened to Mckelvin, but I won't deny that I got some pleasure out of seeing it. No one in the NFL should ever guarantee a victory. The kind of juke Miller made is often referred to as an "ankle breaker", but usually the term is used figuratively. Miller's juke was an "ankle breaker", but the term applied literally this time. On the replay it looked like McKelvin ran to his left and tried to cut back to his right, but his left foot had no traction at all while his right foot was completely anchored. It looked like very bad luck as much as anything. I swear as I watched I was thinking he was going to do a split and tear his groin, then he twisted and I thought he was going to blow out his knee, then he collapsed and the torque went all the way down to his ankle and I thought he might have escaped serious harm. He's improved since he's been in the league, always plays with passion, does whatever he's asked by the team, never hear him complain, and doesn't even fire back at jack-ass fans who paint foolishness on his property. I don't believe anyone here is happy he's injured. But his play has been over-hyped by some here all year. He was not playing well in this game before he was injured.
