Maybe they're under the impression that new ownership will automatically mean a new coach & GM? At least I could see the logic in that, otherwise I think they get at least this year and next year as well. Obviously, EJ's progress or lack thereof plays into this in a huge way. The current regime has placed all bets on EJ and they will stay or go with Pegula on the basis of his play. The Raiders stink (always), he's pretty forgettable and until this year they haven't drafted very well. I saw them in preseason in New Orleans last year and thought that they were the least talented team that I had ever seen. They actually exceeded my expectations.
