I don't think so but according to Vegas he comes in right after Jason Garrett as the 2nd choice to be the next head coach fired: https://www.sportsbo...categoryId=1085

This is a little odd to me. He certainly has at least this season. There are other guys (Allen) that may not.

Yeah I don't see it either. Maybe they're under the impression that new ownership will automatically mean a new coach & GM? At least I could see the logic in that, otherwise I think they get at least this year and next year as well.

Guys I'd put before Marrone:

Dennis Allen

Rex Ryan

Jason Garrett

Joe Philbin

I would add Mike Smith too if they struggle again.

Keep in mind lines are set based on perception, not reality. Plenty of people (erroneously) think that a new owner will be bringing his own guy immediately.

Good point. Jauron and Gailey were let go years too early.

i know your being sarcastic. Unfortunately it was years too late.

I feel bad for Dennis Allen. He inherited an absolute mess and has had awful drafting to this point.

Rex is a good coach but he needs a playoff team to keep his job.

Philbin should have never gotten the job.

What do you win if Marrone isn't fired?

uninformed. but likely fueled by ownership change

This^^

If Pegula is the new owner I do not see immediate change. Obviously, EJ's progress or lack thereof plays into this in a huge way. The current regime has placed all bets on EJ and they will stay or go with Pegula on the basis of his play.

If I were going to lay a few bucks on this Dennis Allen at 6:1 would get my $. The Raiders stink (always), he's pretty forgettable and until this year they haven't drafted very well. I saw them in preseason in New Orleans last year and thought that they were the least talented team that I had ever seen. They actually exceeded my expectations. With that being said they can't win more than 5-6 games max which will get him canned. Can he make it through the year?

Absolutely Marrone is hot seat material. As it is, the Bills would have to finish 10-6 just to bring his W/L record to .500. He came from college ranks with Chip Kelly and they'll be compared to each other until one of them gets fired.

If I were a betting man..
