Democrats are...showing independent thought?  When did this start?

And when do they realize they're not very good at it, and stop?

I was just coming to post this article

https://www.washingtonpost.com/powerpost/surprise-republican-win-in-house-exposes-divisions-in-democratic-leadership/2019/02/27/0c27cb76-3ad8-11e9-aaae-69364b2ed137_story.html?utm_term=.da6ce069fa88

And hate to admit this but I am not 100% sure I understand it. Can someone here succinctly put it terms I will understand?

Couple of things i guess I need clarification on

1) what exactly is a motion to recommit and why does this reflect poorly on either party?

2) In terms of this legislation, is there really a reason the Dems would not want illegal aliens trying to buy guns reported? I feel I must be missing something

Thx in advance !!!

Here's a reply to that tweet. Seems like a good explanation despite his super partisan opinion on it.

I've noticed gun control-freaks like to ask how much ammo someone needs as a lead into why there should be a limit on ammo purchases.

So I respond by asking how much toilet paper they need.  Do they by single ply or high capacity two ply.  Do they buy a single roll at a time, a 9 pack, or the big box stores bulk pack

How many ply before it meets the definition of assault ply?

Holy. *****. Her husband has to be deaf...

Her husband is dead.  He was John Dingell Jr from whom she inherited the Congressional seat in 2015.  John Jr, about 25 years her senior, held the seat from 1955 until his death in 2015 after inheriting the seat from his father John Dingell Sr who held the seat from 1933 until his death in 1955.

How is that for Democracy <_<

Well, now that is very interesting. Another board I frequent recently had some gossip about her husband and an alleged 20+ year affair. Makes me wonder what she has done that someone would be dredging that up now about him, and not while he was alive (and why I figured he was still breathing).  Thanks for the info!

I’m curious as to what’s on everybody’s shopping list.

Tactically I have basically every gun I need. I will be venturing into my wants. I want an M1A carbine, and a Tommy gun this summer. Let’s see what we can make happen.

I still need a general purpose 12 gauge to feel like I have all the bases covered. After that the want list includes a bolt action hunting rifle in .308 so it can use the same ammo as my ar10, a .22lr pistol for a range gun that I can shoot 1000 rounds in a trip without crying about the ammo cost, and the Ruger Blackhawk convertible single action revolver with interchangeable cylinders chambered in .40 s&w and 10mm auto.  I also want to get into reloading which means buying a press and the associated tools and building a bench.

Well the joke is on you because I don’t care single stack. Don’t you feel stupid now?

I remeber you saying that you carry 9mm because you subscribe to the higher capacity is better philosophy, which is why I read you as the other man in the punchline.

I’m a huge believer in ammo capacity. Nobody is accurate with handguns, handguns suck, ammo is important. I’m especially fond of my custom Kel Tec Sub 2000 in G17 grip. That thing is nasty.

Ive got a 10/22 just like any American boy. That’s my plinking gun. I love it.

And by ‘general purpose’ 12 gauge, you mean for hunting or defense or both?

I also want an M1A carbine, have for years. need to make that a priority. Also lack an over under in 12 ga.  Without going into detail, I have everything else covered.

I bought a Weatherby .308 with a Leupold scope before the safe act was enacted, love that gun. My son shot his first doe with it, my daughter shot her first buck with it, and I got this nice buck with it.

One of my bosses has an M1A he's trying to unload.  Military parts too.  I'm sore tempted.

What about the car company that manufactured the box truck that French Haj used to drive over Frenchies on Bastile Day a few years ago — should the car manufacturer be sued?

So what would ya say their crime is? Businessing? Making a legal product?

Making a product that is dangerous, unsafe product that has resulted in numerous deaths is irresponsible. Do they think only responsible people will own these murder machines? Do they do enough to ensure these killing machines are safely used?

No!!

No!!

Hows it dangerous? I’ve never had a barrel blow on me or anything of the sort. Maybe a double feed, but that coulda been the ammo.

Tibs, get your constitution out. Blow off the dust. Read the 2nd amendment. M’kay.
