He does not WANT to throw downfield. True, the Pitt dbs are playing way off. And Polamalu said pregame that EJ waits to see receivers open, instead of throwing them open. A work in progress. EJ has happy feet when there is no reason to get happy feet.....he has a lot of time in the pocket and rushing throws instead of letting his recievers get out field giving him some options...
