This is how they taunt opposing players in VAN:

Novel Way to Get in the Opposing Player's Heads

I mean WTF! :thumbsup::unsure:

That is awesome! I would imagine any other pro sports league would ban them from games...but that is one of the advantages of being a "minor" sport...the NHL still manages to maintain some character, and isn't so stuffy and corporate...

Ya, kinda crazy... But in reality, what about basketball and the waving of crap behind (or in front, whichever it is) a free-throw shooter.

Gotta admit... The green dudes are creative... Kinda "Blue Man Groupesque!"

I seem to remember (and maybe it is just an adolescent dream) a group of female fans, perhaps late 70's or early 80's, who lifted their shirts, and pressed their assets against the glass, behind the visitors bench, in a playoff game... I want to say it happened in Quebec, one of the Canadian cities...they were escorted out, with a huge round of applause from the locals...not as creative as the Green Man Group, but equally distracting...

OK, I have a delimma. I like hockey and the Sabres, but rarely get to see regular season games. So, I hear all year how good the Sabres are looking. Then the playoffs come and I finally get to see them play. Then they lay eggs like they did today. So, clearly, I know I'm a jinx.

OK. So, I'll stop watching. They'll win. But, what good is it wanting the Sabres to win, if I can never watch them win?

DVR them all and watch the games after we win the cup...?

Suicide is the only solution here.

It looked like he was going for the puck.

Considering how much dirty stick work we've seen from the Bruins in the last 3 days, I'm not convinced that he was playing the puck with that sharp downward hack that just happened to blast Vanek's knee.

It's ok to hit a player in the face with your stick as long as you're a Capitals player.

Let's see how those primadonna's handle 21K hostile fans at the Bell.

The Habs got away with their fair share as well, they blew a 4-1 lead....say good night to them.

sure homer.

So then, Markov getting a cross check in the face in front of the ref 20 seconds before the GTG isn't bad officiating?

Can you please cite some examples of how Habs got away with calls?

Good luck Marge.

Oh please, go and watch the game again. Gomez hooks and slashes on every shift. There were plenty of hits from behind, interference you name it. You don't see it because you a habs homer (not Homer Simpson), I don't care about either one of these teams. I watched the game and there were plenty of missed calls both ways.

The slap actually looked to me to be just above the knee on the lower thigh. It may have been the camera, and I did not DVR the game, but I was thinking real bad bruise/charley horse rather than serious knee injury.

I really like Miller's reaction after the game... He really has his head screwed on right! BFLO was the first team to go perfect the whole season when leading into the third... You juts knew they wer going to get snake bit. The last team that went perfect was the 1994-1995 'Hawks (19-0). Also, BOS hasn't beat BFLO in a playoff game in 7 tries... Since 1992. Again: "Holidays must end you know."

Oh well... Hope TV is okay!
