  1. This team is mentally tough...we saw it in 2021. We saw it last year. We are seeing it again this year. When things get tough and this team is backed into a corner, they are like a wolverine that nobody wants to mess with. Usually it leads to them playing their best football. With so many teams that fade when the going gets tough, it's great to see ours plays it's best.
  2. And yet they did far better than O'Brien has on offense this year. Except in their first game against us.
  3. Like our chances with McD's track record against young QB's with not a lot of game experience. Stick will be looking like a deer in the headlights and likely will throw a couple of easy picks to us.
  4. Wouldn't be surprised to see him as our punter next year. Ironically while it sucks for him he had to go thru this and fight to get back in, it may benefit him financially as now he is a free agent and not subject to the rookie wage scale limitations of a late round pick.
  5. Wow...this one likely won't age well based on Patricia's track record outside New England... https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/sports/nfl/report-eagles-replace-sean-desai-with-matt-patricia-amid-defensive-struggles/3723981/#:~:text=The Eagles have replaced defensive,Patricia%2C a league source confirmed.
  6. Yes, then it was called against Toney, that was 12 and then again in the very next game with the Eagles-Cowboys, for 13.
  7. 2nd in the NFL in rushing and 3rd in scrimmage yards...I'd say Cook is everything Hall isn't right now. This take aged about as poorly as one could.
  8. He broke a lot of them today and now finds himself 2nd in the NFL in rushing to McCaffery and 3rd in the NFL in total scrimmage yards to McCaffery and Tyreek, so I think he has been doing quite well in that department...
  9. What have the Fins done this year against good teams or really over the past 2 decades in December that makes you think they are going to win ANY of those games, let alone 2 of 3?
  10. Christian Benford said it best when asked what he thought it meant for the Bills to be playing their best at this time of the year...he was quiet and thought about it for a minute and then said "It means we them dawgs that can win it all." Don't think anyone is disagreeing after the performance yesterday.
  11. Yes...he didn't take out his own players for once on hits that came after the offensive player was already on the ground
  12. Why? It's been a point of emphasis this year that teams were told about in training camp and has been getting called throughout this season.
  13. Remember last year and every other year just about when a team's starting QB went down and they just folded like a cheap tent? This year it seems the offenses are playing just fine with the backups...it's kinda crazy.
  14. Ugh...that Ridley overturned TD likely sealed a loss for me in my fantasy playoff
  15. This is one of the reasons I loved the Torrance pick...the dude is a just a big, nasty player that brings attitude to that OLine and also is good at anchoring in pass pro. Sure he has had some issues a few times in games against some elite players, but by and in large he has been a huge upgrade at RG They ran the ball almost 40 times and had 0 offensive holding penalties. That's hard to do.
  16. When I screamed that Rasul Douglas was going to be a perfect scheme fit for the Bills, some didn't seem to think he would be and others were unsure. Hopefully everyone has come around by now...that lockdown D the Bills have been executing has been in large part to his ability to play as a perfect scheme fit.
  17. Cook now is 2nd in the NFL in rushing and has over 1400 yards from scrimmage on the season, which I believe is only second to McCaffery. Should finish somewhere between 1600-1800 yards from scrimmage this year which is an excellent season, and wouldn't be surprised if he goes on a run of 2,000+ yards from scrimmage seasons starting next year as long as he remains healthy. Just starting to hit his groove and coming into his own, and the Bills finally figuring out how best to use him. When Allen willingly takes the checkdowns, the Bills offense becomes almost unstoppable...DC's are literally praying he stops throwing the checkdowns to Cook and Kincaid. We may be seeing the evolution and the maturing of Josh Allen right before our eyes right now. Ty Johnson just seemingly is one of those players that makes something good happen whenever he touches the ball. Have really loved what he has added since Harris has gone down.
  18. Yeah I tried to go there over the summer as it's not far from me but it was absolutely mobbed and the wait was like 2 hours
  19. Cook now needs 12 yards for a 1000 yards rushing on the season and is averaging 5.2 YPC on the year(actually a decrease from his 5.7 last year) and has another 433 receiving, meaning he has over 1400 total yards from scrimmage...Cook should easily end up with 1,600 yards from scrimmage on the year and if he has a few good games could approach 1,800. Not for sure, but that is likely only 2nd to McCaffery. Cook is now 2nd in the NFL in rushing. Extremely impressive and I wouldn't be surprised if he threatens 2,000 scrimmage yards moving forward in the following years now that he is established as a dual threat and has really found his groove.
  20. If the starting D stayed in Dallas wouldn't have even got that cheap TD at the end.
  21. Denver cannot catch us if we win out. We will be 11-6 and they would be 10-7 at best. Would be irrelevant because if we win out we are wining the AFC East.
  22. Dallas only TD drive was against mainly backups and even then everything was hard for them...as soon as they were catching the ball their receivers were getting absolutely drilled... Dak had nobody open, even the underneath stuff was covered well. McD with another masterclass performance.
  23. This should not be surprising...knee brace is now off, working off the rust and regaining some trust/strength in the ACL and ability to make those type of moves. This is how it works when players come back from ACL's...they take many weeks of playing to look anything close to what they used to.
  24. That was an absolute bludgeoning on both sides of the ball...the O Line just manhandled the Dallas D. The Bills ran the ball at will and the Bills D shut down literally everything...Dak had nobody open and even when he completed passes his receivers were getting drilled as soon as they caught it. They picked him off once and they probably should have had 3 or 4. I told you Rasul Douglas was going to be a perfect fit for this D and he absolutely has been. Dude has been just balling.
  25. Fins could very well lose this game...they were inept against the Titans without Hill on offense...the Jets are a huge step up in terms of D
