  1. Shaq Thompson absolutely obliterated Achane on that one pass play where he ran right past Ingold trying to block him and hit him right as he caught the ball behind the LOS...no idea how he held onto the ball.
  2. One of the players was talking about it (I think maybe Bernard?) and he said they have been running more of it and giving teams some different looks when they are going to heavier formations rather than staying in base nickel and it's been helping against the run. Said Taron is a semi-LB with the way he plays but said it's nice for him to get a break from having to put that type of wear and tear on his body and gives them some different opportunities on D.
  3. I'm going to guess Tua averaging a completion of -0.5 yards well into quarter 3 had something to do with this? He finished at 1.4 yards for the entire game on average distance for his completions.
  4. In the last 12 games(including playoffs) Allen has 31 TDs to 1 Turnover (an INT) for a 31:1 TD:TO ratio. That's absurd. Has to be some sort of record.
  5. I'm starting to kinda like Elijah Moore more every game. Seems to make timely plays for us when needed.
  6. Miami made some good adjustments and started playing 5-2 fronts more often
  7. No, he was literally facing at a 45 degree angle towards the left as if he was trying to kick the ball to the corner section of the stands
  8. Allen now has 30 TDs and 1 INT in his last 12 games(including playoffs). That's insane.
  9. Just a terrible kick...he literally wasn't even facing the proper direction when he kicked the ball...might be one of the worst kicks I have ever seen in terms of there not appearing to be any mishaps involved.
  10. No, the defense playing one way against them in the regular season allowing an average of 20 points a game over the last 5 years and then the defense allowing that same team to score 33+ points in the playoffs is the reason.
  11. And there it is "that wont' work against better teams". Well they don't do that against better teams usually do they? Considering they have the 2nd best win percentage in pro sports over the last 6 years after the Chiefs. And there it is "that wont' work against better teams". 12. Yeah it was Kroft, the TE who came down with it on his back and as he lay on the ground the DB wrestled it away...I was like WTF? That was the game the Bills built a huge lead only to see the Rams roar back and either tie or take the lead late until a Josh Allen TD pass (I believe to Kroft who caught it on a diving fade in the corner of the left EZ, getting his revenge) won it late.
  13. Including playoffs...those are regular season only Allen also broke the NFL record of most TDs against a single opponent in their first 15 games. Coming into the game he was tied with Marino (vs Jets) with 42 TDs. Ended the game with 45. He also accomplished this in likely well under 14 games when talking about "actual" minutes of game time since he sat for the second half in end of the year blowout against the Fins 56-26 one year, and has been on the sidelines for many end of the 4th quarters as well.
  14. Don't forget that he is a lefty tho, so unlike Allen, that's his preferred side to roll out to...essentially it's like allowing Allen to roll right.
  15. doing nothing really...it's just expected at this point.
  16. I mean it looked great against the Jets when they held them to 0-11+ for only the 2nd time in NFL history(the other time was the Bills against the Jets a few years ago), but yeah, the other games not so much. Irritating because just like last year, they get them backed up in 3rd and long regularly but teams seem to move the ball much easier in those situations than in 1st and 2nd down situations. Just like Allen where no 3rd down is too long to convert, same concept against our D. 3rd and 20? I still expect the other team to convert somehow.
  17. From "hanging"? The Bills had a 64% of winning the game with 13:45 left in the 4th. Are you trying to re-imagine a game that did not happen? That decidedly does not sound like they couldn't "hang" with them, and were tied at 29 with 3.5 minutes to go in the 4th. As always, the defense that plays one way against KC in the regular season but completely differently in the playoffs rears it's ugly head. Of course, the only time KC scored more than 30 points all year was against the Bills in the playoffs.
  18. My biggest gripe with White is not that he couldn't cover Waddle on a short crosser across the formation, while avoiding a rub, very few DBs can even in their prime. It's that he came in as a free rusher on 3rd and 12, had Tua dead to rights and did not play under control to ensure he made the play, allowing Tua to easily avoid him, roll out left and hit Hill for a big 3rd down conversion. I'd expect that from a rookie, not from a pro's pro like White. That was inexcusable.
  19. It's crazy people don't understand that week to week results mean nothing, it's how many wins you have by the end of the season and that you are playing your best football going into the playoffs. That's the only thing that matters. Not the scores or what the games looked like, or Allen not throwing downfield, or defense not getting off the field on 3rd downs this game, etc... IT DOESN'T MATTER. It's a week to week league and very little of what you do one week carries over into the next game when you are playing a different opponent with different players, a different scheme and that has different strengths and weaknesses. All that matters is stacking up "W"'s and the Bills do that better than any team in pro sports over the last 5 years save for the KC Chiefs.
  20. It's not irrelevant because Allen still can do all the other things from the different seasons, he just doesn't by default any more. Sure if we want to cherry pick various situations sometimes things happen...the other team is a group of professionals as well. "Stopped" on 4th downs was more thanks to the refs suddenly being unable to spot the ball properly for the entire game with the Bills on offense. It was so obvious and egregious to even casual fans and caused such a firestorm that the NFL had to put chips in the ball to ensure spots were accurate. Would have been 13 if not for a missed chip shot by Prater that was shanked about as badly as possible on a kick.
  21. There is always a switch to flip and that's Josh Allen doing Josh Allen things. If there "was no switch to flip" then teams would have figured out how to prevent us from averaging 30 points a game over the last 5 years (#1 in the NFL). That's a pretty huge sample size. You simply cannot take away everything with Allen playing QB. It's not possible. If the Bills lose to the Chiefs it will be their defense as always that can't play anything close to the way they play the Chiefs in the regular season that costs us the game, because the offense plays as well or not better against them than they do in the regular season. You can't average allowing 20 points a game to a team in the regular season over 5 years and then allow 33+ points to them in the playoffs over the same time span. that doesn't even make sense how that happens.
  22. Yeah...I was so irritated how often they had Tua running around and couldn't make the play...none more so than Tre coming in as a free runner out of control and allowing him to spin away and complete a pass to Hill for a 1st down on 3rd and 12.
  23. This dude is a real one...we will never see his likes again.
