Why is it so hard for fans to admit reality?

Against Miami? Pretty good. -
How did you end up getting locked into a date during a Bills game? My wife wouldn't have even bothered because she would have known the only place we would have been going was to a bar to watch the game. Recap: Bills looked not great to open the game, went down 10-0 then forced a punt from deep inside Charger territory and got the ball around their own 43...then Allen hit Davis on a scramble drill play for a 57 yard TD deep down field. Then they forced another Charger punt and Allen ran it in himself...14-10 at the half. LA kicked a FG after a Bills TO to make it 14-13, Bills score a TD to make it 21-13 on another Allen keep. Then the fun really started with the turnovers and penalties killing drives. Cook with his 2nd fumble of the game and Allen with an INT on an under throw to Diggs who may have scored on a good throw LA then kicked 3 more FGs to take a 22-21 lead with about 5 mins left, then Allen drove them down to a 29 yard FG with 28 seconds left to take a 24-22 lead. Initially ruled Shakir scored hit replay overturned it that he was down by contact at the 13 yard line. Stick gets sacked by Oliver on the first play, Chargers with no TOs left, another incompletion and then a throw it around drill that never came close to materializing and eventually ended before the final tackle when a Charger player illegally lateralled it forward.

OP apparently is a person that refuses to admit luck plays a much larger part in wins, losses and teams making the playoffs than one would like to admit. -
Enough with the cap nonsense. Wait til you see how much the cap jumps from the new TV deals and continues to jump every year thereafter for the next 3-4 years. By 2027 we will be over a 300 million dollar cap. Pretty easy to work around things with all the new money being added year after year and ability to restructure contracts, especially when your QB has one of the most team friendly deals in the NFL for what he is actually worth. The only people who constantly bring this up are the people who have no idea what they are talking about and what the cap landscape is getting ready to be like a few years down the road or how easy it is to restructure players and get under the cap.

Browning came crashing back to earth against the Steelers and will likely continue. Easiest time to look good is the first few games before DCs get a bead on you. Meh QBs usually don't continue to look amazing for long. Until Tua has to play off schedule and then he looks bad. -
Nobody wants to win the AFC South...someone will be forced to back their way into winning it tho... Jacksonville getting blown out 30-0 to Tampa Bay? C'mon man...talk about pretenders.

Ah yes...more things continue to happen that were "locks" not to happen....like Indy losing to Atlanta.

You mean like how he is the only player in NFL history with 4 consecutive 40+ TD seasons? -

Watch Jalen Hurts and Mahomes this year much? -
For crying out loud, did Damien Harris die (sarcasm)?!

He might never play again is my feeling -
LaPorta has been used in more ways. There is ZERO reason Kincaid couldn't be used the same way. The Bills just don't right now.

Did anyone get a lump in their throats...
Big Turk replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not at all. I saw how many defenders the Bills had back there. There was no way they were sniffing the end zone on that play -
Or a Gabe Davis turn the right way in OT

Until Playoff Lamar shows up that is. Didn't make it look hard against the Cowboys...or Jets...

Kevin Stefanski? Dick Jauron with the Bears when they went 13-3? Tampa Bay under Gruden when they won the Super Bowl? Washington Redskins with Doug Williams? NY Giants with Jeff Hostetler?

Lots of teams come REALLY close to losing in any given Sunday. The only thing that matters is the end result.

Bills will probably be #3 or #2 seed if they win out
Big Turk replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well IND or HOU has to lose at least 1 because they play each other. I suppose the game could end in a tie which actually would be even better. Their defense could cause whoever they play a lot of issues. Especially Baltimore where Lamar tends to fold in the playoffs like a cheap tent. -
Playoff Lenny should be active rest of year...

Murray adds a different element, but I have liked Johnson more than Murray. Pretty much anytime Johnson has touched the ball something good has happened. -

Unlikely, Johnson is the better player and he was missed yesterday.- 79 replies

Luck is a part of almost all NFL games. Just like the Eagles got lucky their kicker made a 60 yard FG in a driving rain and wind storm where the probability had to be under 5%. Or does this somehow only work in the Bills favor but anytime something lucky happens against them, it isn't? Clown post. You could literally come up with that for 50% of NFL games or more. The LA Rams just won a Super Bowl because the 49ers player dropped a game ending INT that Stafford threw right to him with noone else around that hit him perfectly in the hands. Are you claiming that luck didn't play a part in that? Or did Stafford somehow put some type of "spin" on the ball that caused him to drop it?
