  1. I don't think people understand just how big of an advantage it is where a team can prepare for their opponent but their opponent cannot really prepare for them because they have nothing on film to really prepare for or know any tendencies about. It's why teams win so often the week after firing their coaches.
  2. What are teams records the week after they fire their coach? I bet they have a winning record over the last 5 years. Teams are usually amped up for the game, lots of changes are made, the opponent has no real idea what they are going to do on offense or defense and have to basically gameplan flying blind and adjust on the fly and after being completely embarrassed the week before, they wanted to atone for that. We got the best the Chargers had to give and we took it and ended up winning in the end even without our best game. The D played well for the most part, offense was frustrating for a lot of he night but the Chargers had a really solid game plan and changed a lot of what they did for the game, especially with Derwin James playing near the LOS a lot more. I get what you are saying, but I think you don't realize that in these situations, a lot of times those teams actually win...
  3. Tougher game than many expected but not surprising with the coaching change and having no real idea what they would do on offense or defense. Bills adjusted, took the lead but mistakes, penalties and turnovers helped the Chargers take the lead and kept them in it... Allen did what he needed to do to lead them down the field to take the lead late and then Oliver and the D shut the door again. Good win on a short week traveling across country to play a highly motivated team that was just embarrassed the week before and had a lot of moving pieces that you had to try and figure out on the fly.
  4. Now that's what we need...dial up a few more of those...
  5. Guessing the people who said the Steelers had "no chance" to win this game and laughed at my suggestion that the Steelers had a good chance since they typically give the Bengals issues even with Burrow are looking pretty silly right now. At this time of year there are no "lock games".
  6. I've seen this happening for years now and it's never called.
  7. There are absolutely NO LOCKS this time of year, so anytime you hear someone say "this game is a lock", they are full of crap...within the last 2 weeks I have heard National Media members talking about "lock" games on the air frequently and at least 5 of these so called "lock games" ended up being losses. Pretty sure the Falcons thought it was a "lock" they beat the 1 win Panthers last week.
  8. You mean except when it comes to knowing when to get off the field for a FG at the end of a game?
  9. They have the great equalizer in Allen. On any given day Allen can be so good that it doesn't matter what the other team does, they cannot win. My hope is that one day that will happen in a Super Bowl game and any of the other flaws won't matter for one day. Purdy will flame out as soon as he doesn't have an all-world supporting cast around him. I mean look at what happened when he simply was missing his LT and Deebo this year. He looked terrible.
  10. I mean Pickett has been just as bad if not worse than either of those 2 anyway...basically it's a giant QB crapfest in Pittsburgh this year. Bengals struggle mightily with the Steelers tho, even when they had Burrow. Would not be surprised at all to see the Steelers win a low scoring slugfest.
  11. Our offensive line is not slightly above average...by many metrics it is one of the best in the NFL. Allen is the least sacked QB in the NFL. Cook is averaging over 5 YPC, not much you can complain about with them really.
  12. with the way Ty Johnson has been playing Fournette only gets elevated with an injury. Honestly same with Harris...Johnson has been too good to take him off the field...every time he touches the ball something good happens.
  13. Bills 34 Chargers 10 Like my chances with a McD defense against inexperienced QBs...dude will be seeing ghosts out there like Howell did earlier this year
  14. I'm taking the Bills all day in that scenario and 5 times on Sunday
  15. Congress actually held that over their head and that is what ultimately ended local blackouts for non-sellout games...told them they could either end blackouts or they would open up an inquiry to talk about eliminating their monopoly...NFL caved. Fans won. Can actually thank NY Senator Chuck Schumer as he was one of the main people getting after the NFL about it and since he was the head of a very important committee related to that sort of stuff, the NFL did not want to make an enemy of him.
  16. They just opened his 21 day practice window today, so between now and 21 days from today.
  17. That works much better in September which is still very much the middle of summer for them than it does in December.
  18. Drives cap increases, player salary increases, owners making more money, etc, etc, etc...
  19. Getting early XMas presents from both Buffalo teams... DaQuan close to making a return for the Bills and the Mighty(Jack) Quinn returning tonight for the Sabres...
  20. OK, well I'll let you go throw your own personal pity party. I've got better things to do then attend.
  21. Who cares? Brady got more calls by whining to refs than anyone in the history of pro sports. You think Patriot fans cried about it while they hoisted 6 Super Bowl Trophies?
  22. Honestly streams can be found easily for free and it wouldn't even cost 6 bucks, just about 5 minutes or less of typing it into a google search
