Ravens/Texans, Christmas Day Game 2 (no Bills talk please)
Big Turk replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Peyton Manning had far better numbers than Lamar does...Lamar is literlly not even in the top 50 for career passer rating in the playoffs. Do you know how bad you have to be not to be in the top 50? https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/lamar-jacksons-passing-numbers-get-worse-in-the-playoffs-every-year -
Just be careful not to go down Copperhead Road....I heard a bunch of people never came back from there...

That's my whole point. If Allen doesn't win MVP the voters need to be investigated for collusion and/or some sort of personal vendetta against Allen.

But seeing the same thing you have already seen 6 times will. When someone's most memorable play in the playoffs is a 101 yard pick 6, that says all you need to know about how they perform once they get there. -
And have God on their side making them near impossible to beat. Except for the Bills, at least in the regular season.

They beneitted from playing in a division as bad as ours. -

Maybe...but I really like Rousseau. I think he has the potential to turn into that. -
KC has essentially played the same way as they have last year when they were 11-6 but got bailed out by inexplicable luck and teams imploding in ways that are almost unfathomable, as if it was scripted.

He had a receiving TD also

Nothing really. Houston already won the division and the Ravens are now leading the AFC North. Steelers are in the playoffs and Broncos and Chargers will be in with a win in either of their last 2 games. -

Demeco Ryan saying "No Mas!" With these wimpy punts on 4th and short. -
Literally every team in the NFL has those games. Hell, KC has more games like that THIS year than we have had in the last 5. It drives me crazy that people really think that other teams beat bad teams by 40+ points every time. Like what delusional universe are people living in?? I mean JFC, the Ravens have 2 losses to teams with a 3-24 record against the rest of the NFL.

Broncos, Ravens, Chiefs - Can the Bills run through this gauntlet.

KC will shut down Henry and then Lamar will turn into La"mew" like always in big moments. -

The question is "do you think the defense can play well enough to not waste Superman performances by Allen?" Honestly, I don't know. I'd like to say yes but defenses that were far better than the one we have now have turned into sieves in the playoffs.- 325 replies

While the real MVP on the team has ran for 140+ and a TD

You've already seen it 6 times. The definition of insanity is thinking a different result will happen when you try the same things over and over again. Some people are built to raise their game in the biggest moments and some are built to shrink in the moment. Lamar shrinks in the moment. Saying "We'll see" doesn't change the facts, only makes you look clueless. -

They would because Lamar plays his worst games in the playoffs. He is the anti-thesis of a player who takes his game to a new level in the playoffs. He takes it to a new low instead. Repeatedly every year. -

Houston looks like the worst team in the NFL today. Just God Awful. -
The Jets were not a bad team at that point. The game was for the AFC East lead. We won, they since imploded and we ran away with the division. But sure, write revisionist history if you want. And now list how many bad teams we beat by 14+ points. I guarantee it will be triple the list you gave me if not quadruple. Last year the Jets came to Buffalo and lost 32-6

Horrible habit? Hmm...let me see... Jags 47-10 Titans 34-10 Colts 30-20 which was only that close because of a last second TD against our 2nd stringers. 49ers 35-10 Where do people come up with this crap as if the Bills don't usually blow these teams out of the water every year? The Bills have the biggest point differential in the NFL since 2020 by almost 300 points over the Chiefs in 2nd place. Exactly how often can they be "playing down to their competition" when they are so far ahead of anyone else in terms of point differential? Think you want the Chiefs for that who want to play one score games against every team no matter how terrible...except the Steelers.

Are you forgetting that Lamar turns into La"mew" in the playoffs? Let me refresh your memory... Still Lamar's most memorable play in the playoffs in his career.

We already know after having 15 more TDs than him last year. -
Why do we need a 4-11 team "not to try" to win?

Really? Trey Hendrickson, who is leading the NFL in sacks was drafted 103rd overall in the 3rd round. Danielle Hunter who is second in the NFL in sacks was the 88th pick in the 3rd round. TJ Watt who is tied for 4th in sacks and has been defensive player of the year(multiple times?) was drafted 30th in the 1st round. Nick Bonnito who is tied for 4th in the NFL in sacks was drafted 64th overall in the 2nd round. So essentially out of the top 5 sack leaders this year, the only one who follows your script is Myles Garrett who is 3rd and was drafted 1st overall. This is simply not true. -

No team is just "giving up" in Primetime in week 17. Give me a break.
