  1. I love Tre and an extra first round pick is nice but if Watson turns out to be the QB he looked like he as going to be I'd easily exchange Tre and a first round pick for him.
  2. Part of the evaluation includes the doctor watching the video. So the fact that the video is disturbing is completely relevant. The fact that he wasn't allowed back into the game later and that he's likely to miss next week's game means that a mistake was initially made. Not sure why you're defending this so wholeheartedly.
  3. The evaluation is supposed to include watching the tape of what happened.
  4. If the Steelers lose to the Pats next week the Jags will be within a game of them and they hold the tiebreaker over the Steelers with their head to head victory. The Jags and Steelers will both have something to play for in week 17 as long as they are within one game of each other. The head to head tiebreaker only comes into play if there is a direct tiebreaker between two teams or all the teams involved in a tiebreaker have played each other. So, depending on how things shake out it could conceivably be better for the Bills to be tied with the Chargers as opposed to the Chiefs even though on the surface it would appear that wouldn't/shouldn't be the case. For instance, if the Chiefs beat the Chargers this weekend the Chargers would have a 4-6 conference record whereas if the Chiefs lost they'd have a 5-5 conference record. That record could end up being more meaningful than a head to head loss if there are multiple teams involved in the tiebreaker. That being said, I want the Chargers to win this weekend because it's impossible to know how it will shake out and I'll take the more direct tiebreaker and, perhaps more importantly, a better draft pick from the Chiefs.
  5. He dropped straight back. No clue how they say he was outside the tackle box.
  6. Yep, it’s mind boggling why they don’t realize that this is the epitome of a field position game.
  7. Bills have no shot if they keep playing run D like they have recently.
  8. Yeah, there was a poll on the board in pre-season predicting their record and the majority certainly didn't have the Bills at 8-9 wins. Pretty sure the most popular picks were 5 and 6 wins. Yep, Jauron ball keeps the games close. Granted, if the Bills miss the playoffs (which they likely will) I'd much rather the ball bounced differently and the Bills ended up with only 4 wins. Unfortunately, 8-8, here we come.
  9. Turnovers I'll give you. His INT % is a paltry 1.2%, good for 3rd in the league. Touchdowns? He doesn't throw that many (20, 17, 12 last 3 seasons). He's currently ranked 23rd in the league in TD passes. His 3.7 TDs/A is also ranked 23rd. Completion percentage? In this era a percentage in the low 60s isn't great. He's currently ranked 13th in the league with a 63.2%. The more important stat, YPA, he's ranked 26th in the league with 6.4. The long ball is factored into that stat. That's not a good YPA and a huge, flashing, neon sign that he's not doing a good job passing the ball. Add to it a yards per game average of 174 - good for 33rd in the league among qualifying QBs - and the problem becomes even more apparent. I love that the guy doesn't turn the ball over but if it's at the expense of every other passing indicator it's just not enough. I think one of the best indicators of how TT is lacking is the 3 and out percentage of the offense. Two years ago they Bills were ranked 31st in 3 and outs. 31st being the team with the second highest percentage of 3 and outs. Last year they ranked 25th. Keep in mind the offense achieved this while leading the league in rushing! So they were a dominant run team yet still couldn't stay on the field by picking up first downs. That says a lot about the quality of QB play the team has received.
  10. The league should be doling out punishments, not other players. The problem is that when the league fails to do a good job of it the players take it into their own hands. Players should be booted from games quicker, docked massive amounts of coin and suspended for dirty play. And not just the one game suspension slap on the wrist when the play was egregious. Lost in all this hub hub about Gronk is that I've yet to hear anybody mention on radio, tv or print that at the end of that play the Bills were the ones penalized for SAYING SOMETHING TO THE REF. The illustrates the NFL's priorities right there. Saying something to the ref is worse than endangering other players on the field. The players are paying attention too and if the refs and league don't step up their game and require a more disciplined player base the players will take it into their own hands, whether the league likes it or not.
  11. Had the Ravens lost to the Lions I would have said Taylor. But being a game up on the Bills with the tiebreaker and a fairly easy schedule (which includes the Browns and Colts) I think it's time to start looking towards the future.
  12. I'd like to see them change to rule so if you hit a player after the play and it results in an injury you miss as many games as the injured player PLUS a normal suspension.
  13. Most thought the team would win 4-5 games. Team is 6-6 and some fans are trying to run a first year coach out of town already. It is mind boggling. I'm pretty sure I've never seen refs call a penalty after reviewing the tape. I know you can't challenge penalties. Can a ref call a new penalty that wasn't noticed on the field while reviewing the tape for a different infraction? I'm no rules expert but I don't think they can.
  14. Can we do a forced retirement of the OP? Yeah, the guy who has spent his life smashing into 300lb muscle bound men is a coward because he didn't lose his cool like some posters on this board. I like to call that "being an adult."
  15. Totally agree. Fade from the 1 yard line out of an empty backfield was about the lowest percentage play they could call there. To top it off they threw it to their #3 WR who was being covered by legit #1 CB (despite what a vocal faction on this board would have people believe.) It made absolutely zero sense.
  16. Indy and San Fran are both prime trade partners. Would be nice if both lost out.
  17. That was the Rolling Stones...
  18. He just can’t pull the trigger unless someone breaks wide open. So frustrating
  19. Wasnt even an all out blitz, the LBs stopped and dropped into coverage, just WAY too late.
  20. Pats had 1TO left. Calling TO was right call, forces a KO with chance of return.
  21. Yeah, sadly that’s what I think is coming too. Bills will be down 13+ before they get another real opportunity on offense
  22. Dennison has called a very good game so far. If only the passing game execution was better...
  23. D is doing their job. Friggin O...
  24. Relying on the D to keep holding the Pats in check isn’t going to work. This O has to get their heads out of their A.
  25. How can our coach not know the rules?
