  1. He seems like always play well when given the opportunity…guy just can’t stay on the field despite limited playtime. As a backup the most important thing you can do is be healthy when needed.
  2. It’s pre-season, they wait till the games really count to round into form.
  3. I think he could be a beast as a big slot, but he’ll never get that opportunity in Buffalo. I hated the pick when it was made and I’ve eased off that a little based on his first half of last season, but I don’t have high hopes for him as an X. My guess is he’s fine-ish/meh here for 4 years then goes somewhere else to play the slot.
  4. Not only is he not “buried deep on the roster” but - barring injury - he’ll have the highest snap percentage in the WR room. Coleman is the closest thing the Bills have to a legit X. Nobody else on the roster can really fill that role. Hell, I’m not sure it’s a good spot for Coleman either, but he’s what we’ve got and they’re going to play him there at a high rate. All these posters coming in (after a day or two of non-padded practice) saying that the best 3 WRs are Palmer, Moore and Shakir and they are the ones who should play think this is fantasy football. That’s a Z, a Z/slot hybrid and a slot. The only one of those guys who can possibly move to the X is Palmer and moving him there would diminish his contributions. I don’t think many posters realize the massive difference in having to line up ON the LoS and getting to line up a couple of yards behind it.
  5. I guess if you think all interior D-linemen play the same position it's a plan.
  6. I liked Bishop coming out of college and was disappointed when he basically missed all of camp. With so much on the safeties plate in this D his chance at starting was basically done right there. Being a toolsy player with a year in the system I expect him to shine. As for regression I think the obvious answer is Daquan. He regressed last year and is at an age where he could fall off the cliff. Still disappointed the Bills didn’t bring in a succession plan for him.
  7. Creed Humphrey is the best center in the league. He deserves to be much higher on this list than the guys surrounding him.
  8. Diggs was drafted in the 5th round. Not sure what round a guy was drafted has to do with his assessment once you've seen him play 3+ years in the league. That said, what we've seen of Shakir when compared to Diggs prime isn't even close. Diggs was a technician, perhaps the best route runner in the league. Dude could separate in a way we haven't seen from Shakir.
  9. It’s interesting to me how it’s being phrased as an “upset” when, after week 18 Allen was the favorite for MVP. The “upset” was Allen didn’t get voted All Pro, not that he won MVP. That said I think this played out the way it should have. In a race as close as this split it and let both guys get their accolades.
  10. Just toosh-push 2 plays in a row from the 2. It’s so obvious

    RIP David Lynch

Twin Peaks was fantastic but it didn't put him on the map. He was known among cinephiles for his debut, Eraserhead, but Elephant Man put him on the map in Hollywood. Being nominated for a couple of Oscars tends to do that. But was Blue Velvet where you really started to see him master the aesthetic that defined his career in projects such as Twin Peaks, Wild at Heart, Lost Highway and - to my mind - his masterpiece, Mulholland Dr. One of the great and innovative filmmakers of my lifetime. He'll be missed. RIP
  12. Just win. Don’t care if it’s 13-10 or 42-40. Just win.
  13. Only one team allowed fewer than 4.0 yards per carry this season. So yeah, it's a good thing. Granted, the bad thing is that the one team was the Ravens.
  14. He’s not only All Pro, he’s likely to win defensive player of the year, and he’s deserving. He was lights out this year.
  15. If I was starting a franchise the last owner I’d want running the show is Mike Brown. Unless they luck into a couple more fantastic drafts they’re screwed because ownership refuses to pony up the cash necessary to compete with the big boys.
  16. How do we know it’s the early window?
  17. Look for Ravens’ fans to come in with “but games played” thinking that’s some kind of flex.
  18. Absolutely. We’re shortening the game for them. I get it, we want to run, but you can’t TOTALLY lean on it like we have been. We need a few chunk plays. Let Allen do his thing a little more in the 2nd half.
  19. Leone is a master. He's known for his westerns but if you haven't seen Once Upon a Time in America I highly recommend it (if you've got 4 spare hours...)
  20. Not counting sitting the starters last week the Bills are 19-4 in the regular season (and 20-5 overall) since the switch to Brady. Not bad considering they were 5-5 last season before the move.
  21. 2 voters gave Burrow 1st place votes for All Pro too. Doubtful they vote for him for MVP. I don’t think Allen wins but I can see it being closer than people think at this moment.
  22. It’s not even an entire team, it’s one thing - the Ravens rushing attack. It’s just a bad matchup for this undersized D.
  23. That’s actually good for the Browns. They took out an insurance policy on him and will get cap relief. https://sports.yahoo.com/browns-eligible-massive-insurance-relief-163727876.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAE1ESO8s2toA0o8RylmikMakWOdD44lXM8B71xLM7p8oLdt-4eVlzeYvP6fV_RWwad8pCNaOkz0lWZmUpDQSRykE2jGSPUuOmYQsuDhmXjv6ACevSLy3LJC5aSfmF70Fus7B6jbiY0yPyDArustE2KmS8_Z-a5EwVf1bMlCAeq1H
