ESPN: Tom Brady’s Most Dangerous Game
MDH replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
HGH. It's how a 40 year old can recover like he's 25. -
CBS Studio Analysts praise Bills, Fans, McDermott
MDH replied to Fadingpain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hear you. Ive stopped getting my hopes up no matter how quickly the Bills come out if the gate. Win @Jets and at home vs. the Saints and Ill believe. Even the Bills would have a hard time throwing a 7-2 record down the toilet with 2 games vs. the Phins and one vs. the Colts left on the schedule. -
There is no such thing as a safe place on the internet...

He should have been booted from this game. That was the definition of flagerent.

Gameday Thread Bills vs Bucs 1st Half
MDH replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You do what the coach wants you to do. I rip TT all day long in Sundays but trying to blame him for a ridiculously stupid play call is a bit much. It makes one lose their credibility. I cant even fathom the reason for that call. 2 yards closer for an already short FG attempt? -

There is no overreacting to how bad that play call was. Any criticism of it is justified. -
?look who's #1 Scoring Defense... AGAIN
MDH replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or it shows that playing the Bills offense throws the stats off because they struggle to score against everybody. -
The CB at the bottom of the shot (at the 40) has outside position. He also has no help underneath. Thats a throw he should make before WR even makes the cut.
-
Goff looks pretty good throwing the ball to Watkins and Woods...
-
On each of those shots I saw someone who had a bit of space but TY was generally too busy running around with his eyes on the rush instead of downfield.
-
I want a QB who drops back, reads the D before he finishes his drop, plants his back foot and fires an accurate ball with confidence. Yeah, the WRs arent good but I dont remember the last time I saw TT do what I described. Hes hesitant, slow to read a D and his accuracy isnt good. But hey, he will make a nice run for a 1st down a couple of times a game and have the announcers say, thats what Tyrod brings to the table! Its not all TTs fault but hes not playing well. Theres plenty of blame to go around but the bottom line is hes good enough to get this team 6-7 wins each year and keep this team in QB purgatory. This front office got rid of the best offesnsive weapon the team had in the passing game while looking towards the future I wish theyd do the same and bench TT. Id rather lose the rest of the games with Peteman at the helm than win 7 with TT. Granted, I do realize this is a hard sell to the vets on the team but as a fan Id much prefer it.

Jordan Matthews Thumb Injury Update: Active vs. TB
MDH replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They use their WRs less than any other team because they have the worst WR corps in the league. That being said, I agree with your main point, adding a WR at this point wouldn't be the immediate gain that many are hoping for. It takes time to mesh with the offense/QB. -
Why is he a "d bag?

Buffalo Rumblings breakdown of Peterman against Baltimore
MDH replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My point is the stats are useless WITHOUT a reference point. What are you comparing them to in order to say they're good, bad, or average? -
Buffalo Rumblings breakdown of Peterman against Baltimore
MDH replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because unless you are going to do that for every single QB the numbers you obtain have no reference point. If you compare his massaged numbers to everybody else's real numbers that tells you nothing. -

Knowing what you know today about Kelly and Brady
MDH replied to mead107's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brady QBing the Bills in the late 80 and into the 90s would have won multiple Super Bowls. That team might have gone down as the greatest ever with Brady at the helm. -
Would you, right now, trade TT for Deshaun Watson?
MDH replied to BringBackOrton's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is where I'm at too. I don't think Watson will be a quality NFL starter. That being said I'd still take him over TT. Just because I believe something doesn't mean it will be true and I'd rather roll the dice on a guy who might be good over a guy who won't be on the roster in 2 years. -
It should be? Give complete autonomy to a guy who has 0 games logged as a head coach? He might end up panning out but giving someone with that lack of experience complete control doesn't seem like the prudent move.

Bills Decline 5th Year Option on Sammy Watkins
MDH replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder who is making this decision. A HC who has never coached a game in the NFL before? A president who has proven in the past that he doesn't have a clue about the football side of the business? Ownership who has shown that they're not football savvy? I'd have much more faith in this decision if they had a GM on board who had a clear picture of how he wants to shape the team in the coming years. But right now important decisions are being made without the most important position in the front office filled. That doesn't fill me with confidence. I said it at the end of last season and I'll say it again. The Pegulas needed to either give Whaley control of football operations, including hand picking his head coach, or they needed to fire him and hire someone that they trusted to have that authority. I don't disagree that Whaley left something to be desired as a GM but if you were going to get rid of him you do it at the end of last season, hire a GM and let that GM hire the coach. Who is determining the direction of this football team? I guess it's ownership, but if that's the case I have no faith that this thing will get turned around anytime soon unless they accidentally hit one out of the park with the hiring of McDermott. -
Bills leaning toward not picking Sammys 5th year option.

In what universe? Nothing he ever said about EJ was correct. Literally nothing. -
I don't understand the White hate...
MDH replied to KellyToughII's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To me it means that I won't be that upset if the Bills do tank this season. I'll hope for a playoff run but if not, no biggie, next year's QB draft class should be one of the better ones in years. Even if the Bills can't climb their way to the #1 spot to take Darnold they should have the ammunition to move up and take a quality guy. -
Not sure how you specify 2017. They've been treading water forever. There's a high school CB out there right now who the Bills will draft in the first round in 5 years after White bolts via FA. Don't dislike the player, it's just the same thing the Bills have done since....forever. Even if he pans out like Gilmore, or Clements, or Winfield it might not end up helping them long term. The only first round CB they kept after his rookie contract was the worst of the bunch, Leodis.

Or some old guy is going to have a heart attack, or injure themselves while tripping and falling. I don't think these pranksters have thought this all the way through.

Draft pick allocation by position for the entire NFL
MDH replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Philly has found a guy? I'm sure Washington thought they found a guy after RG3's rookie year too, it doesn't work that way. And Wentz's star lost much of it's luster as the season went on. I wouldn't even say he had a good rookie year, he had the type of struggles you'd expect. We'll see if he takes the necessary steps forward in the next couple of years, but right now it's WAY too early to say "they've found a guy."
