  1. I understand your point. However what impact would this have on outsourcing jobs to places where people make $2 a day and the continual rise of automation taking away jobs?
  2. I don't know how they do it n CA, but in WA you have to sign your ballot and they verify the signatures. I know cuz my wife has had hers challenged a couple of times. Which is s a form of voter id in that they verify you really are who you say you are. As far as which ballots to gather, they use the same data to gather the votes that they use to draw up to draw congressional districts. And yes, Rs do it too. They're playing hard ball. They cheat no matter what you do. Google "ballot box 13" if you don't believe me. I don't necessarily have an issue with voter id. Seems racist to me to say minority people are too stupid or lazy to get a voter id. Again, boggles my mind that people in CA are stupid enough to give their ballot to someone else to mail. At least in WA it's postage paid. How hard is it walk down to your mailbox and drop it in? You go there once a day anyway. Seems rules could be tightened to prevent most of this assuming anyone in congress really wanted to do something about it.
  3. If Trump wins there will be plenty. But they won't be investigating what happened so as to not make the same mistakes again next time. They will be find something/anything to nail Trump's hide to the wall.
  4. I did read that article. The real problem it seems is that the law was changed to allow other people to turn in ballots. Not mail in voting itself. But again, there is no proof here. Just conjecture. I don't see anything about votes being changed or thrown away. If that's happening it's a federal crime and should be fairly easy to catch someone doing it. Even Paul Ryan won't say it's happening or has a big effect. And if Republicans aren't voting, who's fault is that? Why can't they mail in their own ballots? They play hard ball in elections. It's not new.
  5. According to the JDRF, VA, and American Diabetes Association you are at no greater risk to catch Coronavirus if you have diabetes than if you don't. You have a risk for it to be worse if you are not well controlled which they define as an a1c or 9 or 10 which most people would say is not very good control. Are there any statistics on the number of deaths that do have diabetes? And as far as saying they are fat, while only 10% of diabetics are Type I, they are not fat. It is a genetic disease for them.
  6. Do you have any proof or documentation on how this is happening and to what extent?
  7. People in California are idiots then. I would NEVER give my ballot to anyone to mail. It is pre paid postage. Besides I take mine to the the drop box to avoid this. As far as ballots being lost, as we know from 2000, ballots get thrown out anyway. Ever heard of ballot box 13? And, mail in has a paper trail which many state's voting systems do not have.
  8. Who said I had anything against that? Washington and Oregon have two of the highest percentage of people that vote in the country and they both have mail in voting. What do you have against that?
  9. Again, what' the hang up with mail in voting? Please explain. How is rife with fraud? Seriously, why is it? I've read this on here many times but no one explains how.
  10. What is your hang up with mail in voting? We do it in my state. Not sure what the rub is. I get my ballot in the mail. I fill it out in private. I put in the envelope and take it down to the drop box. Are thinking they could change the results then? What stops them from doing that in regular voting?
  11. This is all well and good as long as they keep the areas still quarantined people where they are. If a few of them to go one of these unaffected areas, then it's back on there
  12. I was thinking of maybe a Scarlett letter for the ones that flunk.
  13. A team's 2020, 2021, and 2022 first round pick for Josh Allen? I would. And sign Andy Dalton. For 2 I would not.
  14. Exactly the same? OK. Thanks. what about the others I mentioned? Earl Morall? Kurt Warner? Nick Foles? And Frank's numbers were skewed by playing for an expansion team and 2 other really bad teams. . When it counted, 1989 - 1993 he was 60% completions and threw 17 TDs vs 6 Ints. Exactly as Barkley would. Right?
  15. Glad to hear it. Goodness knows he needs it. Hopefully it works. Could pay big dividends in the W/L count and hopefully a playoff win or 2 or 3.
  16. I guess I'm one of the other posters you speak of. The way I see it is if the Bills had a buddy/mentor type not that good on the field in 1993, no worlds.greatest comeback. The Giants would have won one less SB. No El Perfecto for the Fish as quality backup Earl Moral played a large part of the season. Eagles would still have no SB wins. No greatest show on turf. I would hate next year if we were 8-4 headed to Foxboro with Josh having to miss the next few games due to injury and we don't have someone to play that can win. "QB is the most important position. Second most is backup QB. " --Joe Gibbs
  17. They're almost there (coronavirus tests available at Rite-Aid by the 4th of July) in Great Britain. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/25/uk-coronavirus-mass-home-testing-to-be-made-available-within-days
  18. My bet is by the 4th of July you will be able to buy one at Rite-Aid. actually I made this prediction 3 weeks ago.
  19. Maybe that's what yall do in Austin. I live in Seattle and out mayor and city council has declared homelessness a crisis and the mayor declared a state of emergency and they are definitely working on it. And, our governor is managing the Coronavirus thing and doing a fine job as our numbers appear to be dropping.
  20. Would probably have to take his pants off to count to 21.
  21. Unless I'm mistaken (which is always possible), this translates into 1 more drop per 100 passes.
  22. this is one of the first things they taught in my computer classes in the early 1980s. GIGO. Garbage In = Garbage out. Still true today.
  23. I understand that. And Teddy brought it up too. My point is we had opportunities after the missed blocks. And if we'd got a TD instead of a FG on that drive in regulation, we win. Opportunities were there. A 30 million dollar man needs to make it happen then. Our opponents QB was in a similar spot but was able to come up with the big play when needed. That's what we should be looking for, not being satisfied that Josh got close and if someone else had done something we would have won. No more excuses. Just win somehow. QBs job is to win. That's why he makes the most money.
