I think you may have reached the crux of the biscuit. Our "offesive mind" had very similar limitations with very different results. Our "offensive mind" has more to do with it than drops IMHO.

It is interesting that the QB with the second most drops only slightly behind Josh was a guy that played in the Super Bowl last year. Drops don't have to necessarily be killers if a QB can continue to put good passes in there post drop.

I was at that game. I put a lot of the blame on Cahill and McDermott for this one. While the Eagles ran 41 times and controlled the clock, we PASSED 41 times in a 40 MpH wind storm with a young QB. Of course Josh fumbling right before the half at our own end Of the field resulting in Eagles points didn't help either.

I re watched the Cheats at the Ralph game. I've changed my tune on Barkley. He actually played we'll in that game. 1st play was 3rd and 8 and he completed a 15 yard pass up the sidelines that John Brown caught while being interfered with. He had st least 3 dropped passes that were On the money. On 4th and goal he hit Zay Jones in the hands in EZ that bounced off.

I like having bandwagon fans. It means we're good.

This is the way they did it n replay's original incantation. After a year or two it was canned. I was at a game where the sky ref gave a team a TD which was wroooong. The ref even admitted it later. With what all we had to give up to get him in the way of draft picks and what we passed up (Watson, Mahommes, and Jackson), expectations are high as they should be. I don't think he gets it any worse than anyone else. Although there was no TBD back then, there were fans calling for Frank to start over Jimbo. Nothing new here. However, I would say he gets more excuses for his play than any other Bills QB I can remember.

Not a big Trump fan, but I do like this. I believe we'll get back to all that (air travel from busy airports and full flights, sellout playoff games at the Ralph etc.) but it will just take a while. Maybe a year or two but it is the goal and will happen.
