  1. I keep wishing Trump would hire her for Press Secretary. She'd be great in those press conferences.
  2. If they catch him he should be charged with a hate crime.
  3. Do you think if they screw Bernie again Ds will win anything in 2020? HoR? Senate? Prez? See, I think if they lose all 3 if they don't let the voters decide and instead put someone else in. That's the point I was making. Nothing to do with if you like Berni or not.
  4. Didn't they learn anything from 2016? If Bernie gets the most votes and they screw him again, Trump will win and they will lose the HoR I suspect.
  5. Interesting. We have a black gospel singer in Seattle that leads the Total Experience Gospel Choir. It is very racially diverse an the leader, Pat Wright is just fine with it. Here is a video of them performing . The a black fellow choir members and choir leader don't seem to have a problem with it. I think we should judge a choir by how they sing, not the color of their skin.
  6. I don't think he does. Since he took over our O has stunk. Stink. Stank. Stunk. When he took over it was top 10 two years in a row. As the HC, it's on him first.
  7. I felt better going into the 1999 season. We had a top ranked D AND some serious offensive weapons like Andre Reed, Quinn Early, and Thurman Thomas. I think Coach McDermott is a really good coach and leader of men. Josh I'm not sold on yet. As for Beane I have concerns for his inability to get offensive talent in here after 3 years. Stockpiling draft picks and trading up to take a QB project in round 1 and then not getting him top notch NFL caliber WRs to put around him and help him develop makes no sense to me. His WR draft picks since Josh have been Ray Ray and Austin Proehl. I'm optimistic but need to see more improvement.
  8. Mark Cuban A true self made man. Loved BB at Indiana but post graduation could no longer listen to games. So he started his own company to stream BB games. He sold out to broadcast.com for $6,000,000,000.00. He then bought the Dallas Maverick which were on a 5-10 year run as one of the worst teams in the NBA. He turned them into playoff team in 2 years. Won the NBA Championship a few years later. He has been successful in other high tech areas with his own company since. He understands Big Tech and what they are really doing unlike Trump or any of the D's ( since Yang Yang got out) who don't know Jack squat about it. Yet it is a driving force of our country/economy. AND he has his own "reality show" which makes for a GREAT stepping stone to prez.
  9. That was my question. how many people actually paid that? They had lawyers, accountants, and loop holes back then too.
  10. I'm with Doc on this one. In my lifetime the Ds have only won with young charismatic candidates with the possible exceptions LBJ, but that was a special circumstance. Kennedy LBJ Carter Clinton Obama Too bad none of their young inexperienced people are charismatic. Pete should be the guy, but he's just not charismatic. Neither is Amy. Shoulda gone with Yang Gang.
  11. I'm thinking no matter who wins it will result in a split. HoR one party and Senate the other. Neither candidate is super popular.
  12. 10 years? Oh no, if Bernie wins, he won't leave when his 2nd term is over. He'll be our new dictator. Dooooooomed. I look forward to the Bernie 2045 cartoons.
  13. Only congress could pass "Medicare for All". Good luck with that one. Same for free college and forgiven student loans. Lending institutions that bought enough congress people to get it passed that student loans can't be forgiven by bankruptcy won't sit on their hands while this happens. As to the bolded, it usually happens the other way around. The socialist/communist dictator run regimes I know of, they overtook the country by revolution and instituted communism/socialism like Castro and the European communist countries (East Germany, Poland, Romania, etc.) when they were taken over by force
  14. I actually think that if the Ds were to all rally around Bernie he would have a decent shot. The whole Bernie is like Stalin and Castro is way overblown and most people with a brain realize that. He's running for president, not dictator. As George W Bush himself told us, "a dictatorship would be a lot easier."
  15. He's trying to out Trump Trump which is a bad strategy. That's how you get more Trump. Just ask Hillary and Marco.
  16. You know I was thinking about this. When Elizabeth Warren said Mike Bloomberg could let those ladies off the hook for the NDA on national TV and then Uncle Joe kicked in, he can end it now if he wants, I was thinking of what one of his proponents, Judge Judy, would say about it. It is a contract. So you go only with what's within the four corners of the contract. If the contract didn't say they could be released from it if Bloomberg said so on national TV, then even if he did say it was, legally it wouldn't be. I would suspect that getting it from the company would be in the contract.
  17. It actually makes perfect sense since the reward is named after a guy that totally fabricated "news" of happenings in Cuba leading public outcry for us to get into the Spanish American War resulting in 4000 deaths of American servicemen. He ushered in the new term Yellow Journalism. Reward lairs with a prize named after a liar. Tom Hamburger. Is that his real name or a code name?
  18. I was at the Seattle/Tampa Bay game. My experience was pretty much like yours. It was fun. And it was competitive football in February, what's not to like? A dud got a pick six on the 2 yard line as he rushed the passer he put his arms up and caught the football and walked in the EZ. Sweet. The fans started chanting for the backup QB. Then 2 plays later Silvers threw a 68 yard bomb for a TD. That ended that. I'm wondering if this is why the offenses have been weak so far. they always say the defense jells before the offense. They've only played 2 games. Maybe it will get better. That said, Cardale's offense seems to be doing just fine.
  19. Yet our coach and players say on a regular basis that they compete with each other at practice and the competition makes them stronger. Why should this philosophy not also apply to the QB position?
  20. We have troops in Japan too. I know, I was one. But Korea is still considered to be on what with our troops stationed a couple of miles from theirs. It IS the most militarized border in the world and no one has of yet surrendered or agreed to leave. As far as Japan and Germany go, they surrendered. WW II is officially over. Korea not so much.
  21. Doesn't that depend on the Taliban not being violent for a whole week which hasn't happened yet? I hope it works. Didn't he also have deal between Palestine and Israel last month? Never confuse effort with results. Not sure why you're coming after me as some NeverTrumper snowflake or something. My post was questioning DR's comment that no endless wars was a D strategy. However, the fact remains that that the 2 endless wars Trump inherited have continued to 3+ years under Trump. I hope he does end them, but so far has not.
  22. Has he ended Iraq or Afghanistan yet? What does "on the verge" of ending Afghanistan mean? Are there still troops there? I'll give him credit for ending the Afghanistan War when it's over during his term(s). Same goes for Korea. Until then, we still have 2 endless wars and Korea going on on his watch.
  23. Good point. But, what is the big deal? I have not heard him tell any stories of being in combat. Unless I missed something. He WAS in the Navy IN Afghanistan. Are you saying that's not true? So he got in without having to go to boot camp? Is that his fault? If you don't like it, complain to the Navy. Where exactly has he misrepresented about his service? He's not Blumthal at least that I've heard. If I'm wrong, please point it an instance of him lying about his military record.
