Running down hill is my favorite over used football cliche. Hello. The field is flat. When this term was first staring to be used I thought it meant running a sweep. Back then a lot of outdoor fields had a crown so the sidelines were lower than the middle of the field. As a distance runner I know that when running down a hill if you lean forward you can run a lot faster. I thought that's what they were doing. Now when I hear it I usually yell at the TV "the field is flat you moron." ?

New NFL substance policy: no more testing for pot

True. But I live in a cool state and it's way better/easier to buy as I can just drive down to the store and buy it cheaper and know what I'm getting. And it's all really good. Haven't got skunked yet in 8 years. Do you think players will take this into account in deciding where to play? Or not? Then the Beast wouldn't have to sit in a car in a parking lot with unregistered hand guns in the trunk to get it. Just mosey down to the store ... -

No, I'm serious. If I'm a weed smoking player which by some estimates is 70%+ and I have a chance to go to Seattle or Buffalo all things being equal, I go Seattle. Buffalo is in a redneck state. Why take a chance? Roll with it. -

This will seriously give Seattle, Detroit, LA x 2, San Francisco, Chicago, and Denver a leg up on FA signing. We need to get it legalized in NY to have a chance. -

Her experience seems to be a little light. But if you think about it, she has more political experience than Barack Obama, Mayor Pete, and Donald Trump. -

AND, he would have a decent chance to win. Probably be the first 3rd partier to win a state since George Wallace in 1968. -

Funny how Donna freaks out about the R person talking about the D's "process" and then she goes on and trashes the R process. -

I don't want a 2nd Trump term, but I WILL NOT vote for Uncle Joe. He voted for the Iraq War. He got snookered by George Bush. He's a moron. And his judgement is horrendous. While discussing whether to kill Osama Bin Laden, Uncle Joe was the only one against it. -

I keep wishing Trump would hire her for Press Secretary. She'd be great in those press conferences. -
If they catch him he should be charged with a hate crime.

Do you think if they screw Bernie again Ds will win anything in 2020? HoR? Senate? Prez? See, I think if they lose all 3 if they don't let the voters decide and instead put someone else in. That's the point I was making. Nothing to do with if you like Berni or not. -

Didn't they learn anything from 2016? If Bernie gets the most votes and they screw him again, Trump will win and they will lose the HoR I suspect. -

Interesting. We have a black gospel singer in Seattle that leads the Total Experience Gospel Choir. It is very racially diverse an the leader, Pat Wright is just fine with it. Here is a video of them performing . The a black fellow choir members and choir leader don't seem to have a problem with it. I think we should judge a choir by how they sing, not the color of their skin. -
I felt better going into the 1999 season. We had a top ranked D AND some serious offensive weapons like Andre Reed, Quinn Early, and Thurman Thomas. I think Coach McDermott is a really good coach and leader of men. Josh I'm not sold on yet. As for Beane I have concerns for his inability to get offensive talent in here after 3 years. Stockpiling draft picks and trading up to take a QB project in round 1 and then not getting him top notch NFL caliber WRs to put around him and help him develop makes no sense to me. His WR draft picks since Josh have been Ray Ray and Austin Proehl. I'm optimistic but need to see more improvement.

Mark Cuban A true self made man. Loved BB at Indiana but post graduation could no longer listen to games. So he started his own company to stream BB games. He sold out to broadcast.com for $6,000,000,000.00. He then bought the Dallas Maverick which were on a 5-10 year run as one of the worst teams in the NBA. He turned them into playoff team in 2 years. Won the NBA Championship a few years later. He has been successful in other high tech areas with his own company since. He understands Big Tech and what they are really doing unlike Trump or any of the D's ( since Yang Yang got out) who don't know Jack squat about it. Yet it is a driving force of our country/economy. AND he has his own "reality show" which makes for a GREAT stepping stone to prez.

I'm with Doc on this one. In my lifetime the Ds have only won with young charismatic candidates with the possible exceptions LBJ, but that was a special circumstance. Kennedy LBJ Carter Clinton Obama Too bad none of their young inexperienced people are charismatic. Pete should be the guy, but he's just not charismatic. Neither is Amy. Shoulda gone with Yang Gang. -

I'm thinking no matter who wins it will result in a split. HoR one party and Senate the other. Neither candidate is super popular. -

Only congress could pass "Medicare for All". Good luck with that one. Same for free college and forgiven student loans. Lending institutions that bought enough congress people to get it passed that student loans can't be forgiven by bankruptcy won't sit on their hands while this happens. As to the bolded, it usually happens the other way around. The socialist/communist dictator run regimes I know of, they overtook the country by revolution and instituted communism/socialism like Castro and the European communist countries (East Germany, Poland, Romania, etc.) when they were taken over by force
