  1. If you know what their content and demographic is then it's easy to see why the "Bills Mafia" shenanigans is a gold mine for their page. It is what it is, they post that kind of stuff for all different teams but there just happens to be a lot of incidents with Bills fans. It's kind of embarrassing but I came to accept there are a lot of jackasses that are Bills fans a long time ago. I think most normal people realize that the people who end up in these videos are "caricatures"of real Bills fans anyway.
  2. I remember when we drafted JP Losman there were articles being written saying JP had a Brett Favre/Jim Kelly presence to him and I never saw that at all when I started following his career once he got here...to this day I don't understand where those comparisons came from. But for the first time since Kelly himself I can see some similarities in Josh. I just hope he can continue to develop his talent. I don't question his heart or intangibles.
  3. That phrase is getting thrown around and used the wrong way too much these days. Every great player that comes out of the draft is not a "generational" player. McDavid is. And luckily for Sabres fans it looks like we actually do finally have a generational player in Dahlin.
  4. But isn't that still the purpose of going out to watch football today as well?
  5. That movie was in heavy rotation during my college years
  6. I agree with everything except we should absolutely take a high round WR within the next two drafts...as long as they do their homework and get the right guy. When you get a guy with an arm like Allen you owe it to him to go out and find the next AJ Green or Julio Jones
  7. I understand that it was a work in progress but at this point we already had a young Kent Hull and Andre Reed so the core was beginning to come together regardless of how many games they won that season. I am not worried about Allen being ruined but I am worried about the overall lack of talent we have up to this point on the offensive side of the ball.
  8. Only difference is there was alot of other young talent showing up around then too. The Bills absolutely have to hit on the next draft...we need a legit WR who is a playmaker and they have to strengthen the o-line if we expect to see Josh have any success.
  9. I think it's been alot longer than that since the lots opened as early as 7am...I remember them opening up at 8am for awhile before they changed it to 9
  10. If I recall correctly didn't Schoop only get into fantasy football a couple years ago? Could explain his obsession with it right now...you know that new toy feeling when you find a new hobby but at the same time it doesn't make for the most interesting talk radio show but these guys are going to talk about topics they want to.
  11. The product continues to get worse and ticket prices and other NFL related expenses continue to rise. It's not shocking people are losing interest.
  12. Whatadrought would be more appropriate
  13. I was exaggerating a bit for the sake of trying to be somewhat sarcastic because I think McDermott is much more business than Rex ever was. But i think to a degree his inexperience might be catching up to him because of the way some things have been mishandled. And don't think for a minute just because nobody has come out and said anything that the Veterans in the locker room aren't extremely frustrated right now. McBeane continued to preach winning now and winning later when in reality it's clear they are going for a full tear-down rebuild and that's the kind of stuff that make players lose trust in a coach. I'm just nervous about how everything is going to play out this season. I can already sense alot of frustration from players, McDermott himself, and certainly from the fans point of view.
  14. I feel like we are right back to the Rex Ryan days...Only past Week 1 and I feel like we are watching a friggin soap opera again. I can tolerate a losing season because I understand the nature of a rebuild but I can't take another laughing stock of the NFL season yet again
  15. No. The Bills are just severely lacking in talent right now.
  16. Agreed. Woods was a process guy. Great downfield blocker. Played with passion. It's a shame we couldn't hold onto him. As of right now it's laughable to think Zay Jones is an adequate replacement.
  17. I thought this post was referring to the two first round picks we'll be getting when we trade out of the #1 overall pick in the 2019 draft.
  18. On the bright side at least he won't look any worse than Matthew Stafford does tonight
  19. He got completely blown up on some plays. I didn't think he was going to be that big of a dropoff from E Wood but we are in big trouble if yesterday was a reflection of his talent level as a starting Center.
  20. RIP FOOT BILLS FOR LIFE!
  21. Thanks man! I knew there had to be a replacement out there but i just never took the time to look into it. Yeah that was a sad day when IMDB shut down...I'm a big tv/movie buff and it was a great place for discussion on more obscure shows and movies that you don't hear people talking about.
  22. The thing is we are FAR from seeing the finished McDermott/Beane product. They will bring in talent to match the culture they are creating. Once the talent catches up....LOOK OUT NFL
  23. In WNY the Sabres are a big deal for all ages but so many posters on this board aren't locals and don't have any ties to the Sabres
  24. Buffalo has finally landed a true blue chip talent....and it feels oh so good!
  25. Very interesting read and I like hearing behind the scenes stories especially from the good teams because surprisingly there is usually alot more dysfunction behind the scenes with good teams than you would expect. It's hard to sustain success for a long period of time in the NFL. Even when the team is built up and in contender mode that window of opportunity is still very short to win Super Bowls. Yes they probably should have won at least one more Super Bowl but so should've the 85 Bears. Ego's, money, distractions, aging all get in the way and it sounds like things unraveled pretty fast in Seattle but make no mistake that was a good era of football for the Seahawks.
