This has been an awesome thread! Thanks OP As a kid you spend all of your time hanging out with friends but as an adult I feel like hobbies are what get you through life!

I like the Goo Goo Dolls in general but A Boy Named Goo was the best version of GGD in my opinion. I still remember when that came out and they blew up. Peak 90s!

Oh yeah MJ wasn't an angel I know. I've heard both good and bad stories about him off the court. I don't expect these guys to be boy scouts. Stuff like Murder or the s*** Diddy or Bill Cosby were involved in is a whole different level and would ruin the fan experience for me We are blessed that not only is Josh Allen such a freak of nature talent wise but he is also a legitimately good dude and a true role model.

Shameless bump. I was really hoping someone would have picked up on this and remembered it happening and had some insight to offer. I would have loved to attend a game at Arrowhead in the early 90s(went to a game there in 2015 and it was still solid) -
All I know is hearing the conflicting feelings from those that grew up and idolized OJ I pray everyday Michael Jordan doesn't go off and murder anybody or get caught up in a Diddy sex ring

Do you still watch the NFL Hall of Fame inductions?

I get your point but I slightly disagree here, there can be a lot of uniqueness and interesting tidbits in these guys backstory and their journey to professional football stardom. I agree though it definitely depends on who is speaking but I have def heard some entertaining speeches over the years. -

The thing I always remember most from this game was Elway pleading with the refs to quiet the crowd down when the Bills were on Defense. It just made the 12th Man get even louder lol. Funny thing is I just stumbled upon this video last night and apparently he tried pulling the same exact stunt at Arrowhead that same season lol. Was Elway just a Diva? Does anybody remember him doing this at KC too? Was it a talking point that season, I was still pretty young at the time so I had no memory of this happening at Arrowhead too -
OJ was before my time so I didn't grow up watching the player. When I was a kid I remember the Bronco chase and the trial being on TV. At the time I remember it being a polarizing case and many people were split on whether he did it or not. The case always fascinated me and as a kid I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and think he was innocent. But I have followed it closely and watched all the documentaries and read books on it and there's no way he wasn't guilty. OJ was a true sociopath and hid it well with such a public friendly persona. I think it's totally fair to have great memories from that era and what it meant to Buffalo and being a Bills fan, you can't change history and that is what it is at this point. However you don't have to celebrate OJ as a person either because he was a great football player. Those two things don't have to be mutually exclusive in my opinion.

When I was younger I used to never miss them and they always felt like the official kickoff to the new season starting. I'm not sure if it's just me being older and more jaded or if the quality of them have legitimately dropped a bit but in the more recent years they just don't grab my interest as much. It's been awhile since I've sat done and watched one. But I am planning on at least watching some of this one coming up next week. I have read they are planning on doing something special for Marv's 100th Birthday and I really want to watch Sterling Sharpe get inducted. That is really the last old school guy I grew up watching as a kid that I have been waiting to see get inducted. I think you look at it a little bit differently when you are talking about the players you watched as a kid when everything felt so larger than life. After Sharpe gets inducted I don't think there will be anybody that I get truly excited to see go in until that day comes for Josh Allen lol.

Never thought of it in these terms before but that has eerily similarities to the high from 51-3 to Wide Right
