  1. I fall somewhere in the middle...I didn't hate it as much as some people did but I don't think it was some amazing piece of television history either. I also think it's so hard for these big TV series finales to live up to the hype and often times they don't. My favorite series finale for any TV show is probably The Wonder Years and that was handled as simplistic as could be and it was still great.
  2. This take I agree with. I too fear this might be a group that collectively just can't handle the pressure. No matter what happens as they finish this year out Adams absolutely cannot sit back on his hands and just run it back with this same group without making any changes in the offseason or even at the trade deadline. But at this point we have to at least hope half of this current roster would be equipped to move forward. Tanking just isn't worth it at this point. It takes too long for NHL prospects to develop and we already have so many of them. We need to continue to move forward while still making the proper changes along the way.
  3. If he wins 3 Bills fans will be proclaiming him greater than Lombardi, Belichek, and Reid combined
  4. Same experience for me. Was so cruel to start growing up during the Super Bowl runs and then live through the drought once it was time to start coming of age and be able to appreciate it more. Sometimes it would feel like the Super Bowl years were just something I dreamed of as a kid.
  5. It just recently hit Netflix and has reached a new wave of fans who must have missed it the first time around because I have been seeing people posting about it all over the internet like it is new lol. But yes originally came out in 2015
  6. I just watched the 85 Bears 30 for 30 recently and those Bears players didn't speak too fondly of him in it. Calling him a Midget etc lol
  7. Their cupboard is already stocked full of future prospects. So many that we won't even be able to keep all of them here. The wins are not meaningless if they are truly learning how to Win. It's funny this topic comes up today as I was just watching Episode 2 of The Last Dance yesterday and Michael Jordan talked about how he was pissed off at the Bulls organization in his second season because they were holding him back and not letting him play many minutes when he came back from an injury because at that point it clearly looked like they were tanking for better draft position but he said as an athlete he promised himself the Bulls would get into the playoffs every year he was there and he wanted nothing to do with tanking. At this point I would hope that's how our players feel! There would be a serious problem if the players in that locker room are on board with losing for the sake of draft picks.
  8. The Sabres are beyond tanking for draft status and future prospects. This is a team that needs to learn how to win on a consistent basis at the NHL level.
  9. I still watched the Conference games and the Super Bowl but I completely agree. Football season is great but I don't miss it until it comes back. It's been great having more time over the weekends to get stuff done, exercise more, eat healthier, relax etc. I'm not too into baseball but the NHL playoffs are great and for me this time of the year is about counting down to golf season. I totally get Bills fandom but I feel sad for those that are feeling lost when football season is over. There's a big world out there with plenty of interesting hobbies, passions, and other things to get invested into.
  10. Yeah I have to Piggyback off this for mine and say that even if 13 seconds didn't happen that does not guarantee the Bills automatically win the Super Bowl that year(blows my mind that so many Bills fans think that)
  11. People always forget Marino was the only QB who was able to shred that 85 Bears Defense. It's a shame Miami got upset against NE in the playoffs that year that would've been a much more entertaining Super Bowl
  12. It hurts to think about what could have been. But yeah that 2006 team in particular was awesome. I really thought they could go all the way that year(which is really the only time in my life I thought that about a Buffalo sports team besides going into the 2022 Bills season but by the time the season was winding down I knew it wasn't going to happen) and I still think they would've won the Cup that year if we didn't lose half of our Defensemen in the playoffs. Losing McKee before game 7 against the Canes was the final nail in the Coffin. I remember even after they lost that Game 7 how incredibly thankful the fans were for that season. Nobody was complaining they lost, everybody understood the situation they were up against. I watched Game 7 at Buffalo Wild Wings and after it was over I'll never forget everybody chanting "Thank You Sabres" I miss the love affair Buffalo had for that team. The passion, the energy, the excitement, RJ still in his prime. Ryan Miller said it best when he came back for his jersey retirement "That was the right type of team for that type of town"
  13. Once again, it wasn't so much optics but I think Beane and the organization themselves were frustrated with the whole Araiza case. Not that he was guilty but he was not transparent about the entire situation and thus dragged the Bills through a PR nightmare. He was never coming back to Buffalo after this whole thing went down. And it wasn't because of Optics or having a female owner.

  15. They listed "The Drugs Don't Work" by the Verve at number 2 which is the song I picked to start this discussion off. Pretty cool. Just a phenomenal song
  16. You clearly don't remember the backlash the Bills got when this all went down
  17. That's the Sabres hockey I miss watching 😢
  18. You can enjoy and appreciate every minute of Josh Allen's career and also really want the Bills to win a damn Super Bowl lol. They don't have to be mutually exclusive thoughts. For me I will say this, when I start getting super frustrated about our lack of playoff success and some of the shortcomings I think about the Sabres and what the alternative could be. Puts things in perspective real quick. This is definitely a very good era for Bills football.
  19. I've seen a couple different insiders report on this before and it always felt very plausible to me. The Bills felt like his camp wasn't completely upfront and honest about what his situation was and felt like they were embarrassed in front of the Nation over this story. I get being pissed he signed with KC but he was never coming back to Buffalo and I agree with the Bills front office on this one.
  20. Although I don't put all of the blame on coaching you have a fanbase that's currently questioning why we can't get past the Divisional Round with Josh Allen at Quarterback so I get why it's such a major talking point around here
