  1. So this is really a thing huh? Saw this earlier and didn't give it much of a second thought because I thought it was fake haha
  2. Tough business..thanks for the memories Tre!
  3. That Boogie Basham pick keeps looking worse and worse lol
  4. It's not about the FA signing itself so much as it is the situation that Free Agent finds themselves in where they land. The pieces already have to be in place for a Free Agent signing to put a team over the top to becoming a Super Bowl team.
  5. So many great 80s movies...Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Can't Buy Me Love, Secret Admirer, St. Elmo's Fire, Weird Science And those are just scratching the surface
  6. By the time we get to Friday someone will be asking if we should trade Josh Allen
  7. Hilarious to me how many NFL analysts had Denver winning the Super Bowl the first year he went there
  8. Lindy Ruff out in NJ. Cruel business https://www.nhl.com/news/lindy-ruff-fired-by-new-jersey-devils
  9. No baseball team The Bulls were always my NBA team but I haven't really watched any NBA since LeBron won the title with Cleveland either
  10. https://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/lifestyle-buzz/50-awesome-things-from-the-80s-our-kids-are-missing-out-on/ar-AA1mHM53?ocid=socialshare&pc=DCTS&cvid=a436ad616b82422aafaf3e5980df2f2c&ei=68
  11. I know that was always speculated. I'm surprised this whole story isn't getting more attention. I know there's other stuff going on in the world but the deaths of 2pac and Biggie were such a big deal in the 90s
  12. Hate to say it because it would be awesome but it feels like Sweat is going to rise up on team's boards not fall back
  13. Wasn't there also talk about him putting the hit out for Tupac's murder? I don't just mean the typical internet speculation which has always been there but I thought he had been implicated in actual court documents or something. I remember there being a lot of talk about it and it just completely died out
  14. I know we have to replenish our DL corps but this draft makes me nervous. From my understanding it's a weak DL class to begin with and unfortunately identifying DL talent through the draft has so far been one of Beane's weaknesses
  15. Just read that Virgil passed away today as well. Sad news
  16. It does sound weird but as soon as I read that it reminded me of a story my coworker told me that has a friend who works in the suites at the stadium and was working the suite Taylor Swift was in for the Chiefs game...all the workers who had to enter the Suite were all required to sign NDA's. Sounds ridiculous I know but these things are apparently more common than you think in that world.
  17. What was the fake breaking news you sent them?
  18. If you took last year's team with this year's goaltending we would be in the playoffs. It's maddening
  19. Now that's shocking. I thought he was long gone. Would have guessed he passed away at least 15 years ago
  20. Who loves ya baby I get why he wasn't the most popular personality in town but I'll be damned if his show wasn't an entertaining listen. There's nothing like it on WGR nowadays. In some ways it was soothing listening to his rants during some very bad drought era football. Whether you love him or hate him he will always be a part of Buffalo Bills folklore. RIP Coach
  21. Haha that's a pretty cool story. I love learning about random trivial things like that. If I attended the game I think I'd be pretty interested in buying a pair to hang up in my basement but I was still pretty young then. Without it having the sentimental value to me I don't think I'd spend too much $$$ on them but it would be a cool piece of memorabilia to have. I do have the ticket stub of my first game I went to as a kid hanging up in the basement. Bills-Redskins 1996. Jim Kelly's last season. Darick Holmes ran wild that day.
  22. I fall somewhere in the middle...I didn't hate it as much as some people did but I don't think it was some amazing piece of television history either. I also think it's so hard for these big TV series finales to live up to the hype and often times they don't. My favorite series finale for any TV show is probably The Wonder Years and that was handled as simplistic as could be and it was still great.
